24.01.2022 It has come to our attention there is a current issue with telstra in the greensborough area which in turn when you call the landline it is saying it's disconnected. They are working to have calls diverted to my mobile in the meantime as they have said the fix date is listed as September 6th although may be sooner. 02.01.2022 'Twas the month before Christmas, when all through the town Not a groomer was resting, not even sitting down The stockings were hung by the dryers with care And every inch of every salon was covered in hair ... The doggies were nestled all snug in their beds Some short, some fluffy, some with bows on their heads As the groomer battled on, each pup waiting for their bath She secretly dreamed of a long winter's nap When out of the shop there arose such a clatter She sprang from the table to see what was the matter Away to the window she flew like a flash Secured the westie on the table, and the collie in the bath Here was an owner, but what she had with her too Were not only one, but eight knotty muddy Shihtzus With each little pup full of life mud and poo She knew in a moment how much work she would need to do All eight of them feisty and getting noisier the closer they came The owner whistled, and shouted, and called them by name: "Now! Dasher, now! Dancer, now! Prancer and Vixen "On! Comet, on! Cupid, on! Donder and Blitzen; "To the bath to the dryers ! When they're done give me a call!'' "Now dash away! Dash away! Dash away all!" As quick as always she got to work without a moan When she's grooming she's focused, she's into her zone So straight in the bath one, two and then three Shampoo and blueberry facials to wash away last nights tea And then in a flash, on the table they rush The prancing and pawing of each little pup Fluff drys and clipped body's, teddy legs and bear feet, Each one sitting nicely in the hope of a treat Rounded faces clipped nails Ears cleaned and a final spritz Each doggie looked beautiful A final check there were no missed bits Back came their owner arriving with a grin ''I knew you could do it'', dropping a tip in the tin Eight pretty pups trotted off in the night She watched as their shiny coats went out of sight She sighed and felt her each muscle ache And wondered how much more of this she could take But imagine life she thought, without those little faces Without kisses without cuddles without laughing at tail chasers Her days are exhausting and full of dirty difficult jobs But she loves each and every single one of those dogs She thinks about how lucky she feels every day She lives her dream and even gets paid So remember this Christmas and every day after We here love your dogs, love how they give us happiness and laughter We thank you for trusting us with your loyal family pets Even if sometimes they hate us more than the vets! We'll think of your pups this year around the tree While happy and cosy our own pup on our knee We'll imagine them with their family's on Christmas day Happy glossy and clean....well we can hope anyway!!
