25.01.2022 Someone got a touch of colour yesterday!

25.01.2022 WE ARE ON BREAK! We will be back open on the 6th of july, we will re open our online bookings close to this date. We are also booked up a couple weeks once we re open, so please dont hesitate to pre book your appointments.... see you all soon!!

25.01.2022 WOOHOO! As some of you may know Jacob and I have been in the process of building our first home in Curlewis, AND this weekend is the big weekend of moving! For the past 3 days (after work) we have been packing and doing many many trips back and forth moving house. ... We are almost finished, so many thing to unpack still. But we are so excited and happy to finally be in! But we have a lot of gardening to do!

23.01.2022 This Months Appointments! Spring is just around the corner, and if you havent already booked your Spring groom we strongly suggest you do so veryyyy soon. ALL OF AUGUST IS NOW FULL ... First week of September/Spring Sept 1st 11.30am 2nd - FULL 3rd -FULL 4th 1pm 2pm 5th - FULL Nicole only has several weeks left at work as she is growing larger every day, she has now out grown her work uniform. We are in very high demand at the moment with some local groomers closed due to Covid and our small town growing bigger and bigger every week. We have closed our books to new large breed dogs. As its getting hard to fit in the ones we already have on our books.

22.01.2022 Afternoon everyone! Hope you have all havent been to cold this week! As it has been SOOOOO cold!! (only 6 weeks till spring!!!)... We would like to inform everyone that over the next 6 months we will be having a few changes some small some big! Everyone will be kept updated of whats to come in the future as we work things out as we go... First thing is that Amy has had a few small health issues the last few weeks, and has found out she will need surgery with in the next 12 weeks. She is not sure on when this will be happening as she is waiting on a date. Leading up to her surgery everything will be as normal as possible. Only thing that will be changing is that will wont be taking on any NEW clients with large breeds. All clients with LARGE breed dogs (border collie size and bigger, Or 15kgs and up) will now need to book in as far in advance as possible as they need to be spaced out with enough time for Amy to complete them. If you have a large breed that is wiggly/jumpy/difficult we may not be able to groom your pooch, but can recommend another groomer for you. Once Amy finds out her surgery date she will contact anyone who has bookings during that time and arrange them to make things work :) We thank you all so much for the amazing support our clients have given to make this small salon a big dream come true! <3 <3 <3

22.01.2022 Here is Florance having her face scissored

19.01.2022 WE WILL BE MOVING! We are excited to finally announce we will be moving our salon to our new house in Curlewis later this year. (Not far, about a 5 minute drive away) We have started our garage make over with our amazing pink flooring! We are so in love with them! We have some walls to build and other things needing to go in. We will keep everyone updated. ... Our move will hopefully be mid November ish. But will keep everyone informed and will call everyone who has future bookings when we know when the tranfer will be! We will only be changing a very small amount of thing that should not put anyone out. As in walk in services will have to call and book in. If you have any concerns or any question please dont be afraid to call and ask us. We want this move to be as easy as possible for everyone.

18.01.2022 The month of July! What appointments do we have left you ask? Not many! ... Below are our appointments Wednesday 29th 11am small dog only 12pm small dog only We are only 8 weeks away from the start of spring, and this is when our peak season starts. Being that we are 2 weeks booked ahead this winter we could have a possible 4 week wait during peak season. And have a heavily pregnant Nicole who will be limited to what she feels comfortable doing. If you want to pre book all appointments to the end of the year you are welcome to message us and we can book them in now!

18.01.2022 No appointments left until August 5th And no available appointments for large breeds until August 20th. Our phone wont stop ringing with doggies needing hair cuts, and this is great and makes us super excited that we are so busy during winter!... But this also means we will be over flowing as soon as Spring hits us. Booking a head is essential. If you would like to book a few appointments in advance just send us a message :)

16.01.2022 KILLING THEM WITH KINDNESS... Healthy vs unhealthy weight... Can you tell the difference? Is the dog on the left a good weight?... How about the one on the right? Canine obesity has reached epidemic levels. Dogs are dying younger than ever, from diseases that dogs 20 years ago rarely had... Diabetes, Pancreatitis... Cancer We are killing our dogs with excess... Excess love (infatuation) Excess toys (overstimulation) Excess (freedoms) when theyre not ready... Excess medications/vaccinations Excess food... We believe, that giving our dogs excessive amounts of everything shows how much we love them... What if I told you, it was killing them? It was helping to put them in an early grave when, their lives are already way too short. Overweight dogs are suffering... They cant run and play as much as they would like to... Their bones and joints ache from carrying that extra 10-30 lbs we typically see on dogs today. They have trouble breathing properly, their energy levels are depleted. Their organs are working overtime to process all the crap we put into their bodies. They are morbidly obese... A ticking time bomb... But, hey... Thats love right? Or... Is it abuse? We are the ones who control every aspect of our dogs lives... What they eat, how much they eat, how much exercise they get... So we are responsible for their overall health and body condition. Why is it, when we see a dog on the thin side, or a dog that has been starved and is in poor body condition that we feel the need to scream, cry, rant, start a go fund me page, post nasty comments, kidnap others animals to "save" them, berate owners...etc... And thats ok... (its not) But if we see a dog, obese, struggling to walk or jump into a car, we think theyre "LOVED". We think how happy that dog is, what good owners they have. Everyone smiles. If they "grow out" of their collar, we just get them a new one. If they no longer want to play fetch, its because theyve "finally settled down" The excuses are endless. The truth is ... YOUR DOG IS FAT... DANGEROUSLY FAT. AND ITS GOING TO DIE. So the next time we want to show our dogs how much we love them... How about taking them for an extra walk? Why not throw the ball an extra 5 minutes? If you give them treats, skip their dinner... They dont eat their food, lets grate some cheese on it, maybe add a little gravy... poor guy must be starving. NO! NO! NO! Trust me, they wont wither away and die. Being descendants of predators, their systems were actually made to survive and thrive during fast periods... the hunt wasnt always successful. So please, stop thinking food is love Stop believing only "thin" dogs are abused Stop refusing to admit that dogs are obese because of us... And do something about it... today

14.01.2022 Our 2 week break is coming up fast! Just a reminder to anyone who hasnt pre booked their pooches in that we are now full, and our closest appointments are the 13th of july! Every day we are booking puppies in so this date will keep getting further away. ... If you can book in advance we suggest you do so.

14.01.2022 A BIG happy 4th birthday to little Hunter today! He is our favorite rat that we groom.

13.01.2022 Mojo. how cute is he!

13.01.2022 Please help the Melbourne pets by signing this. Imagine if your pet was due to have their hair cut but had to be cancelled at the begining of lock down. And now have to wait ANOTHER 3 months. That is 6 months with no grooming. ... Grooming is essential to some breeds and 6 months is a very long time. Not to mention the back log of dogs needing their hair cut, and it may take weeks even months for the groomer to catch up!

12.01.2022 AND THATS A WRAP! Today was the last day in the salon! we spent many hours this afternoon packing up and moving things to the home salon for our first day open on Monday!... What a great 4 years it has been in our busy little shop, but its now time for us to open a new chapter and see where it will take us. I will be SUPER busy contacting everyone and making sure you all know how to get to our home salon. We will still operate as usual just on a smaller scale as space is now limited. Cant wait to see you all in our new space! I will put up a photo once we have finished putting everything together over the weekend! Wish us luck!

10.01.2022 Who couldnt love these three. Tahli, Ziggy and Hunter.

09.01.2022 Little baby Florance the toy poodle is such a delight to groom! After only 3 regular visits she has grown out of the puppy wiggles and sits like a pro

08.01.2022 As most of you have already heard we are going back into stage 3 lock downs. At this stage we are assuming it will be the same as last time and we will stay open. More will be announced tomorrow! We do ask for everyone to please wear a mask! ... We will be wearing masks while in the salon ourselves and do ask everyone to follow in helping reduce the spread. Please only 1 family member coming in for drop off/pick up their pet. If anything changes we will update you. Stay safe!

08.01.2022 First day in the new salon and it went very smoothly! We are super happy!

08.01.2022 Ralph and Hazel.

07.01.2022 Only a few more sleeps until we are back open. We have enjoyed our lovely break. Spending time with our families and pets. Amy has spent her time lazing around and slowly packing her house into boxes, as there is only a few more weeks until they get to move into their new home! ... We have decided to not re open our online booking system just yet as covid is starting to peak again, we would like to make sure on what changes might happen before re opening it. At this stage we are still booked a few weeks in advance. And looks like this may be the case for a while now. If your after an appointment you are more then welcome to message us and we can let you know our next available.

07.01.2022 The beautiful Daisy begging for some love. And yes she did get some pats and kisses. Its the start of spring and the start of our crazy season! 05.01.2022 Spring is in the air! Birds are chirping and the sun keeps peaking it head around the clouds. The weather will be slowly warming up over the coming weeks and we want everyone to be ready. ... Below are our limited available appointments for September. We are not taking on any new large breeds or large breeds that dont come in regularly as becoming a mission to fit in our regulars. SEPT 30th 1pm We are starting a cancellation list for those wanting an earlier appointment.

04.01.2022 What a satisfying blow out!! But the clean up in a salon is oh so painfull!

04.01.2022 Arnold looking better after his trim!

03.01.2022 We pleassseee ask clients to remember their appointments. In the first 3 days of our first week back from time off, we have had a large amount of no shows. We have lost almost a whole days work in the last 3 days and have had no chance to fill these spaces. ... Everyone recieves a reminder txt the morning before hand so their is enough time to call and let us know. This isnt just unfair on us but also unfair on the client who want their dogs groomed but have to wait 2 weeks for our next appointment as we cant fit them in. If given enough notice we can fill your appointment with someone who is waiting for an earlier appointment. But if we arent notified we stand around waiting..... and waiting.... and not being paid for our time or over heads. Sorry about the negative post as this isnt something Amy likes to do.

02.01.2022 Home salon is finally (apart from minor things) complete and ready for our first day tomorrow!!! Im busting out of the seams to groom in it tomorrow But its never going to be this clean again once hair goes everywhere. ahahah

02.01.2022 We are taking some time off! We did have a holiday booked but for obvious reason it was cancelled.... We have deceded to still take some time off and relax at home! ... The salon will be closed from the 20th of June and re opening on the 6th of July. As of late we have had an influx of bookings from regulars to a lot of new clients. We are doing our best to get everyone in. And we still highly recommend booking a few furture appointments in advance as we are booked out 2 weeks in advance and have limited appointments left leading up to our time off. Online bookings! we have decided to keep this closed until we get back from our time off. But you can message us on our fb page to make a booking!

01.01.2022 Here is a little video that Amy thinks everyone should watch! Its SUPER cute and will show you how to work with your puppies during grooming time at home. Jess Rona is Amys favorite groomer of all time and thinks the sun shines from her. <3
