23.01.2022 With temperatures soaring across the Central Coast & Sydney over the next few days, please remember to keep your furry friends cool. Here's a few tips to help you and your little friends! *Keep your dog hydrated - provide a number of large water bowls just in case one spills. *Purchase a kiddie pool for your dogs - fill up a clam shell and leave it in a shaded area for your dog to lay in.... *Give your dog frozen treats - freeze sardines, stock, or meat in ice cubes or old ice cream containers. *Proper grooming is especially important in the summer - keep your pets coat clipped. *Be smart about keeping your dog cool in the summer - Don’t leave your dog in a car, don’t tie them up in the sun, don’t walk them during the hottest part of the day, and don’t walk them on the hot asphalt. If you're worried about leaving your pet at home in the heat, especially with 40 degrees forecast for tomorrow, I still have one doggy daycare spot available and can also arrange home visits. I will be taking my current doggy daycare pups down to the beach for an early morning swim, then we'll be spending the remainder of the day in the aircon :) Please PM me for more details x
