17.01.2022 Yesterday's EMC Guest Christmas Party was very successful with the guests enjoying the wonderful food and being extremely grateful for the food parcels. This event would not have been possible without the generous support of so many organisations and individuals. Greenhills Centre generously provided the delicious food, the Egyptian Coptic Church assisted on the day and provided traditional deserts and food parcels, Nicole Lawder MLA and her team assisted on the day along wit...h providing pavlovas and brownies. Additional food parcels were provided by Helping ACT and many others provided contents for food parcels including Yarralumla Uniting Church, Weston Creek Uniting Church, St Andrews retirement community and many individuals that provided generous donations but prefer to stay anonymous. A massive thank you to all for your kindness and generosity! The guests had a great time!

12.01.2022 Today marks the beginning of NAIDOC Week 2020. This year's theme is: Always Was, Always Will Be. The theme recognises that First Nations people have occupied and cared for this continent for over 65,000 years. NAIDOC Week is an opportunity to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The national awareness week is a great chance to participate in a range of activities and to support your local Aboriginal and Torres Stra...it Islander community. You can find out more about NAIDOC Week and check out upcoming events on the @NAIDOC website - www.naidoc.org.au #NAIDOCWeek #NAIDOC2020 #AlwaysWasAlwaysWillBe
