22.01.2022 2 Week till we are serving the Coldest, Freshest Beer in town The announcement that venues can reopen to have up to 10 guests for dining is really fantastic news and very welcome from the gang at The East. We have taken the chance during the lockdown to do some much needed renovations and upgrades to the pub. We are doing an overhaul of our beer system, cool room and refrigeration and retiling of our kitchen. This will lead to a much better product and offering with colde...r and fresher beer!! We are not quite finished but will be in a few more weeks if all goes to plan! As such we will not be opening just yet but will let you know as soon as we will be. The restrictions being lifted took us a little by surprise but the upgrades will be well worth the extra time we think. Youll be back in your favourite pub in no time (although with less people than the above image). Stay tuned for our official re-opening date!

The circumstances surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic and the guidelines from our Government and NSW Health has led us to the decision to suspend the Jazz performances on Sundays by our resident band Geoff Bull & The Finer Cuts. This is devastating for us and the band and we stress it is only as temporary as we see necessary to ensure everyones health and safety. As the situation evolves, we will l...ook forward to reinstating our regular Sunday Jazz sessions as soon as possible. We will however remain open to the public for meals and drinks during this time. 01.01.2022 **We Are Still Here** It is with heavy hearts we will be temporarily closing our doors as of Monday (23rd March) as per directions from the NSW State Government. We love our community, our locals and patrons who show us so much support. We love that we are a meeting place for old friends and new to come and enjoy the companionship of what we think is a pretty awesome group of friendly, inclusive and warm patrons. We love that we are a place for people to gather to celebrate g...ood times and come for the support of a friendly face when times may be tough. Although our doors will be temporarily closed, please know we are still here if you need support. As important as self isolation is at this time we are concerned that for many it may be, well, pretty isolating.
