The main cause of all eating disorders is what or how you FEEL about something that’s going on in our life (past or present). CAUSE = negative emotions that make you feel less than in some way... SYMPTOM = you use food to feel in control or to comfort yourself in response to the negative feelings So, if you want to control how you eat don’t focus on your symptom by trying to control your food. Focus on where it’s stemmed from your emotion. This is why Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) is so powerful at helping you stop emotional eating or any other eating disorder. No matter what your brain is telling you, your body loves unconditionally, each and every second of each day regardless of your self-talk. It’s always looking out for you!... 15.01.2022 We all have limiting self-beliefs if we’re honest with ourselves - some are just bigger than others. Everything that happens to us is a lesson or a blessing. You choose what. If it didn’t turn out as well as you’d expected, then I’m guessing it’s going to be a lesson . So, what are you going to do different next time? When you’re deciding what that is remember to also reframe your thoughts too - that lesson will keep repeating itself until you learn it!!

10.01.2022 Do any of these sound familiar? Can you see yourself in any of those? I know I did and still do in parts - especially Ignoring my own needs. This has been a BIG area of improvement in my life. However, what’s still lingering is the GUILT I feel for putting myself first and it kills me sometimes, but I CANNOT go back to where I was it nearly broke me. I had to turn my back on people that were close, and I miss them, but I couldn’t stay. ... I still see the look in people's eyes, they’re thinking (and saying), "You're selfish" "You're cold hearted", You’re a nasty person, How can you do that. But you know what that’s MY STUFF. The fact that I’ve still got this guilt is telling there’s some lingering unhealed trauma inside. My inner child telling me it’s not safe, I need to PEOPLE PLEASE or I’ll be rejected or abandoned. The fact that this actually did happen hasn’t made things easier but these people aren’t supposed to be in my life they’re my life lesson and I passed!!! I’ve moved on in huge leaps and bounds using EFT Tapping. It’s been amazing for me, its quick and amazingly effective. 04.01.2022 I personally can’t imagine it! Mainly because I love carbs! I’ve been that person who’s been on a low carb diet glued to Myfitnesspal counting everything that went in my mouth. Most of the time it got to lunchtime and all I was able to eat for the rest of the day was dust!! Yep, I’d eaten all my ‘allowance’! So can we all agree to give carbs a chance? You know you want to ... Plus there're 3 really good reasons why it’s a good idea to make friends with them they taste good! They keep you satiated so you're not hungry all the time Your brain needs them the brain only functions on glucose and that’s what carbs are! I’m not advocating scoffing down a load of donuts and other white flour goodies, they’re not the best friends to our body, but the odd one every now and again won’t hurt. But what is ok with each meal are potatoes (white & sweet), brown rice, legumes, lentils and wholewheat bread and pasta. Yep, bread is not the enemy either (unless you’re coeliac).
