18.01.2022 To our loyal customers.. Firstly, I’d like to remind you all that we are a SMALL family run business, in a SMALL country town. We pour our absolute heart and soul into our business and whilst there are so many of you who support us unconditionally, there are SO many out there who jump at the opportunity to tear us down! Our staff are loyal, friendly, well trained and helpful. Our food is made FRESH, daily.... Our baking staff, led by the business owner hand make ALL of our products. We are open 10hrs a day, 7 days a week and frankly we work our asses off to provide Eildon with the best service possible. A few things I would like to address.. 1. We have a QR code. 2. Whilst adhering to density limits, we can seat 20 inside and 23 outside. This DOES NOT include those in line to order. This number is 16. The past 3 weeks we have been pushed to our absolute limits. We have been busier than EVER before. How hard is it to be kind? Really? You’re in a cafe for god sake. You’re waiting for coffee, or breakfast, or a donut. Tell me WHY?? WHY do you have to be nasty to the girls who are just trying to do their job? WHY do you have to criticise the 16yo who is just trying to earn some money on the weekend? WHY do you need to swear at the girl who has been making coffee since 6am and accidentally made you a latte instead of a flat white? She’ll fix it. WHY do you need to snap at the lady who has been working in a hot kitchen all day and took ‘too long’ to make your breakfast? If you have an issue, ask to speak to the owner - we are always there! Leave our staff out of it. BE NICE! Has this year not taught us anything? Have a little bit of compassion for those who are working tirelessly when NO ONE else is open! Your rudeness will not be tolerated. Thank you to those who always have a friendly face. We remember you and we thank you. You make our long days easier.
