20.01.2022 Even if you can't make it to a gig, liking and sharing your local band's Facebook posts is a huge help. :)

20.01.2022 Some more random images just 'cause.

17.01.2022 Ok, it's been 24 hours and I think many of us still haven't recovered but it's time to officially thank some people - please don't let me forget anyone!!! Haha ...Firstly, the supporters/sponsors: CRE Logistics for supplying the tautliner we used as a stage. Justine Keay MP. Betta Milk for the little Jives for the kiddies. Banjos Burnie for the awesome deal they gave the BBQ guys on their bread. Jenny, Russell and the rest of the events team at Burnie City Council for lending us the tables & chairs and a few other bits and pieces. The Burnie Shines committee. The Burnie Agricultural and Pastoral Society. To the people who helped set up on the morning: Jess, Sarah, Ken and Brett... Thank you so much. Chris Lynch, our MC, thanks for looking after the microphone. It saved people from having to listen to me dribble on all day! Paul Taylor from the Burnie Agricultural and Pastoral Society/Burnie Farmer's Market who saw the vision of the event and suggested that I ran with it. RMS Sound, Lighting & Backline - Matt, Jack & Steve... an amazing job once again. So easy to deal with and always a professional job. The awesome food and beverage vendors: Baboushka Coffee, Eat Me Happy, Cheescake Baculo and Henry's Ginger Beer. We had a couple of little power issues to start off but we got there! Nothing but amazing feedback about all of you. I can't thank you enough for joining us on the day! The Dragon's Realm jumping castle guys and Tess from Fairytales and Pirate Sails for keeping the kids entertained. :) Tony from Rural Alive and Well. An amazing charity that do great work. I had heard about RAW but when I read more about them I was blown away at their ethic and passion for the area of mental health and suicide prevention. Seriously, if you don't know much about them, look them up! The musos: Marcus Wynwood, Pete Cornelius and his band (Simon and Beau) and Dave Wilson. Some of the best blues and blues inspired music you'll ever get to hear. Thanks so much for being an integral part of the day. Cody, Jacquie, Justin, Paul & Rob from The Smoking Devils and The Midway Smokers for cooking up the most amazing BBQ food in the world - those beans were the bomb diggity! You guys were the absolute stars of the day and everyone was raving about your meats, spuds, beans and the rest. You're all welcome to come back and cook for us all any day! Lastly, I want to thank my awesome partner Kristy and my step-daughter Addison who not only manned the gate for most of the day but did so much in the preparation of the day and running around doing various things. I couldn't have done it without you. You guys are awesome. Thanks to everyone that attended. I think you'll agree that it was an awesome day. 2019? Cheers everyone. Bob.

02.01.2022 Hey everyone! What a day!!! I'm sure everyone that came today will agree that we couldn't have asked for better weather. I've finally kicked the shoes off and w...ill sleep like a log tonight. The feet are sore, the face is a bit sunburnt and tired as hell, but I'd do it all again tomorrow if I could. I'm not going to thank everyone individually right now cause I'll probably forget someone but if you were involved, attended, sponsored, helped or supported in any way, shape or form, I can't thank you enough. I'll go into greater depth tomorrow. Cheers, Bob. :) See more
