21.01.2022 Come and have some fun and record a Christmas song. Open to all ages / experience. The Co op Christmas Recordings 2020 in partnership with The EMU Tree. I am so delighted to be facilitating this Christmas Recording Program again this year to produce a compilation CD of various Christmas songs. This will be the 4th consecutive year that The Co op has supported this and made it all possible to help bring some positive cheer and experiences to the community in the BV and beyond.... We have had such a mix of participants over the last few years ranging from 3 yrs of age up to 85yrs and even a song in Barossa Deutsch. So do you feel like or know someone who would like to come into the boardroom to capture a song either solo, as a duo or as a small choir even? You also have the option of recording to a backing track or performing the instruments yourself. I do have a gathering selection of Backing Tracks from previous years available for you also or you can source your own easily online via iTunes. There is less than 1 month to go so don't leave it too long to register with me and to coordinate a date and time to have some Christmas fun. There is a $10 charge per participant to cover CD costs and the CDS will be ready for collection at the end of the week from the information desk in the Co op. The sessions will be happening in the first week of the school holidays. The dates and times as follows. Monday 14th December to Thursday 17th December. Recording sessions will be from 2pm each day. Cds ready for collection Saturday 19th December. This opportunity is open to everyone of all ages and abilities. No experience needed. If you need some help to prepare and tips I am happy to help. Please share to those who you think may be interested. There are limited sessions available so get to it! Any questions just let me know. All the best for the festive season and a safe and happy 2021 to all. Regards Chris. ho ho ho! See more
21.01.2022 LEST WE FORGET. Here are three links to oral histories of 3 amazing individuals who served their country during WW2. Each story captures the personal and fascin...ating view point of their life experiences. I had the pleasure of sharing some time with these inspiring people and discovering the incredible sacrifices and courage endured to help shape our world today. All podcasts are downloadable so you can listen to their stories at your own speed. There are many other equally amazing individuals documented through this program, I encourage listeners to take their time to explore these further and to share with others. These podcasts were created in partnership with The Tanunda RSL Sub Branch and Christian Teusner / The EMU Tree.It has been an absolute privilege for myself to sit down and record these Veterans about life as it was. May they Rest In Peace. This is a very personal collection of audio and visual which does not glor...ify conflict but aims to educate and celebrate personal sacrifice, create community inclusion, discussion and engagement for individuals, develop networks within the state and finally the priority to preserve and share the experiences and challenges of what others have endured for the greater good of humanity globally. In partnership with The Tanunda RSL Sub Branch. 3 days ONLY. 11am to 4pm. Free entry.
