16.01.2022 Worrying what others think of you takes away from your own personal empowerment. We are all not perfect but we are all beautiful in our own way, we all have something unique to offer. As a woman, you have power, you have purpose and you should be passionate about being the best you can be. Not for anyone else - for yourself first. ... 14.01.2022 Most of us know that interacting with a pet reduces levels of cortisol, the stress hormone whilst it can raise our levels of serotonin and dopamine, the hormones that calm and relax the nervous system. It also increases the release of oxytocinanother chemical in the body that reduces stress naturally The Sensory act of stroking a pet lowers blood pressure and in return reduces stress levels. With all these positive attributes, why would anyone want to hurt an animal? We ne...ed to protect our family pets from abuse at all cost. Your pet can be your litmus test to tell you, you are okay. They know when an environment and a person is under threat or in a stressful situation. We need to protect them at all cost. They unconditionally improve our well-being, self-esteem and keep you from being lonely. #givingequanimity #gratitude #nonprofit #charity #theequanimityproject #strongercommunity #unstoppable #tryequanimity #myequanimity #resilience #australianresilience #TheEquanimityProject #DomesticAbuse #homelessnessofwomen #findingequanimity #Domestic&FamilyViolence #DVNSW #Family&Community http://mvnt.us/m1167301 See more

05.01.2022 We put so much pressure on ourselves to be perfect. To have everyone think there is nothing wrong or that our lifevus in control. Actually it may not be...and that's okay. As we get closer to the end of this year, its not about making promises to yourself that may let you down. It's about taking one day at a time and doing the best you can each day. Learning through the process and heading in the direction you want to go. Be kind to yourself and don't seek perfection, seek i...nspiration and intuition, faith and trust. You will be fine and achieve all you are meant to. . . . #seekingserenity #findingequanimity #newyear2021 #theequanimityproject #gratitude See more

02.01.2022 We're feeling kind of blue. Tomorrow is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. We wanted to give you something to think about. Whether you call it violence or abuse, it's irrelevant. Trying to control another human being is simply wrong. Violence against women and girls is one of the most widespread, persistent and devastating human rights violations in our world today remains largely unreported due to the impunity, silence, stigma and shame s...urrounding it. We all need and deserve respect and kindness. No one should control another person to the extent of harm. It's as easy as that. We are a lived experience organisation and we have joined forces to help other journey to a healing place. One of safety and calm. We are strong intelligent individuals. For whatever reason, we allowed another human to control or harm us. We don't want anyone to go through what many of us have endured. If you need our help, please reach out today. http://mvnt.us/m1170655 . . . #theequanimityprojectaus #findingequanimity #respect #letsstopdomesticviolence #dvnsw #womenssafetynsw #seekingsafety http://mvnt.us/m1170673
