Please call his owner Melissa direct on 0403225836 Gerry is a kind and willing gelding who is a very easy horse to own. He is very quiet, easy to handle and will follow you around like a puppy. Gerry was my first horse and I was a beginner adult rider when I bought him. He has been a wonderful introduction into horse ownership and as a rider I have come along in leaps and bounds. He has 3 lovely paces on the flat and is very willing either alone or in a group lesson. We did find when we started working him on the flat that he has been previously well educated - he was responsive to the leg, even paced, soft and my instructor loved him Previously Gerry has been a farm horse as well as a pleasure hack and trail horse. He has done a lot of trail riding with me and while he prefers company when heading out he is also good alone. I don’t have a riding area at home so I have to ride him out alone on the local roads to get to my instructors property as well as a friends arena and he is fine. Gerry is easy to tie up and would sit there all day without a worry. He has done some small jumping and while he is willing and goes forward freely he has some arthritis and best suited to a pleasure or trail horse. Gerry would not suit to a nervous rider as under saddle he looks to his rider for a little of his confidence but in saying that he would definitely suit a confident beginner upwards as I was an unbalanced beginner and he was incredibly forgiving of me. He has absolutely no buck, bite or any nastiness at all. Easy to float/worm/trim. Gerry is currently in work and looking great. $3900 ONO All of his gear is also available to purchase with him including a Thorowgood all-purpose saddle that is fitted to him. Mouse is a great pony. He is a registered Australian Riding Pony. He is 16 years old and 12'2 high. Mouse is FANTASTIC as a trail pony. He does not get excited, he does not jig jog. He has no shy. He has no dirt, no buck, bolt or rear. He is great with kids, and very easy to handle. He also is wonderful being led from a horse out on the trail. He is not a beginners pony as he is very forward and best suited to a competent keen young rider for mounted games, pony club or trail riding.
