24.01.2022 Keeping creative during iso! I've had so many new ideas I want to try in my newborn sessions and no babies to try it with, so here's a little sneak of how a composite image works. Image one the raw image, image two the composite! The wattle is in full bloom at the moment so I had to take advantage!

05.01.2022 Hello there! I know Ive been pretty quiet on my page this last couple of weeks. To be honest Ive pretty much taken time off during ISO 2.0 to just stop, take a breath and just be with my kids. But.... Thanks to Julie Hedges from Three Hearts Photography, Ive been given a nudge to enter into the RISE photography awards. I havent entered into awards before so I thought why not, Ive got nothing to lose! Well, Julie started a spark in me because this has been so fun to... create! Ive entered in two images to the awards this year. Obviously because of Covid I cant photograph this image straight in camera so Ive created a composite image with gorgeous little Nathaniel. To give a bit of a backstory, it was about a week or so ago I noticed in my garden that this plant was really starting to take off and grow beautiful big leaves. Then an image just popped into my head of a baby on the leaf. As you can see I snapped a quick picture of the leaf to show Julie and from there the concept started to evolve. Ill also post up a video basically explaining how all the elements were photographed. Today I was totally in the zone and 5 hours later, from start to finish, my image complete! Fingers crossed the judges like it?!? www.risephotoawards.com Any suggestions of what the title could be?
