For Olivia, during her travels overseas, she met a stranger at an orphanage who reminded her for family, her dad and childhood. 23.01.2022 Lee shares a bit of her and her familys experience of how they navigated the loss of a loved one. Shes recognised that its been the people who were able to sit with her in her grief without having to resolve or offer neat solutions that allowed her to grieve, process and heal over time. Its opened up her conviction that we can share and receive other peoples stories - and that doing so offers mutual blessing. Lee connects this with what Pope Francis describes as the art of accompaniment. Its an art which invites us to take off our shoes when we are in the presence of the other, because we know that between each other is sacred ground. In the space we share with each other, there is God. To see Lees full story, visit: https://www.thefaithfeedparramatta.com.au/video2020
23.01.2022 For Julian, home is a place where people make time to be available for others, in a way that can sometimes seem unreasonably hospitable. He hopes to be a walking expression of home for others as an expression of being authentic. It is this experience of home that he hopes comes across as a lifestyle that attracts others to share a similar spirit. 16.01.2022 Heres to celebrating a legacy of storytelling thats been passed on through generations of pop culture - a witness to each of our own potential to create ripple effects from generation to generation by the stories our lives tell! Share your story. Hear that of others. Hope together. Laugh together. Cry together. Smile together. And perhaps in that in between space of mutual sharing, you might recognise the dancing of something more - something full - something real. You might be able to hear, in the silence of your exchange with another, the quiet yet definite whisper: Gods Spirit is here. May the 4th be with you!
15.01.2022 Handcrafted a description that emphasises the intentionality, passion and spirit placed into a unique gift or product. It also captures the love and delight of the creator, who leaves a bit of their soul in the treasure they create. Last night was handcrafted or probably more accurately, heartcrafted by Anthony Silvestrini, Patrice, Ian, Justine, Kester, Melinda, Ryan, Anthony Costa, Paul each leaving a piece of themselves in the work of human hands that produced a l...ive stream - an in-breaking of Gods Spirit through story, conversation and soul searching. I count myself as infinitely blessed to be among these other women and men these friends of humanity, who Thomas Merton would describe, shine like the sun. - Donnie

11.01.2022 Music loved and singer-songwriter Anthony shares a bit about what helped him remember some of his most significant life moments. Music for him is self discovery. The songs hes written serve as his way of remembering the ups and downs of his life. Interestingly, in more recent reflections, Anthony has discovered that his melodies loaded with personal memories have increasingly become channels where he can recognise Gods activity in an enlivening and personal way. 04.01.2022 For the women and men of the ANZAC and for all those who offer up their life so that others may receive new life. Heres a piece by John Collins entitled ANZAC Day: A lost battle, self-sacrifice and the Cross I was recently in Los Angeles attending a conference. Our choice of fare, however, was Mexican. In this very N...Continue reading

Its written by Margaret Keane, a religious sister who is part of the community that the Australian, Mary Mackillop, founded in 1866. As with the spirit Margarets reflection and that of Mary Mackillop, lets find ways to keep our ears close to the ground; to listen to each others stories, mixed with joy and hurt, with the openness toward mutual personal transformation.

Her experience of people brings to life her belief that God is relationship. She recognises, and affirms, that the unexpected encouragement for this belief has come through people, including those who may not believe in the God that she does. To her, they are more like God than not. In them, she sees Gods eyes meeting her own. To see Meis full story, visit: https://www.thefaithfeedparramatta.com.au/video2019
