25.01.2022 A big thank you to Michelle & Ruth who made 100 Christmas Cake Cupcakes to put in our weekly food hampers for families and young people we support in our community The cupcakes are being happily packed and distributed by our Youth and Family Workers Kym, Aleera and Jess.

17.01.2022 Jenny and Meg dropped in today from Goodstart Tweed Heads South with donations of gifts from their families and Graham King Surfboards. Thank you for making a difference in our community.

16.01.2022 We only have a few days left until Christmas... The Family Centre's volunteers will be at Tweed Mall until Christmas Eve to wrap all your presents for a gold coin donation. A big thank you to all our volunteers who have wrapped hundreds of presents. A special thank you to the young people pictured who gave up there school holiday time to volunteer.

05.01.2022 We have been overwhelmed with support from our community this holiday season with donations of gifts to our Christmas Giving Tree and Adopt a Family campaigns. This year we had over 300 children, young people and families we are supporting in the Ballina, Byron and Tweed Shires this holiday season. We wanted to give them a special Christmas, and you our community has made that possible. Thanks to all of our community supporters the following was donated: $24,835 worth of toys..., gifts and food $3,930 in gift vouchers $5,400 in cash donations We have seen first had the difference these gifts have made to the families, children and young people doing it tough in our community. Special thanks to our corporate supporters: Seagulls, Surf Dive n Ski, Pottsville Beach Sports, Elevations Church, Mayberry, Meldrum & Anderson Accountants Murwillumbah, Australian Law Group -Murwillumbah and Byron Bay, BNI Eagle and the Commonwealth Bank. We would also like to thank the many wonderful local families, workplaces and community groups who have Adopted a Family for Christmas.
