Something the children can easily make during the holidays and freeze for a quick and easy snack or to put in their lunch boxes.... 3 types of veggies in the meatballs The children did a fantastic job today!

23.01.2022 EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST Term 4 Intensive Cooking Classes 5 classes Monday OR Wednesday night every FORTNIGHT starting week 2 of term 4... 4:00-6:15pm Children welcome to be dropped off from 3:30pm Children cover a variety of skills Children will bring home DINNER for the entire family Discounted term pass, 3 visit pass or casual available. More than 1 child? Send a different one each week! Classes are a bit more intensive than the school holiday lessons as children will work at their own work station. Please indicate your interest below and what day would suit and I can forward you the info. I will only be taking 8 children a session for this program

19.01.2022 School Holidays Fried Rice & Healthy Honey Chicken Today we tried our hand at making a very simple and delicious fake-away version of honey chicken. ... Instead of the soggy battered chicken smothered in MSG laden sauce, the children created this much healthier version and their own sauce. Pack in a heap of veggies, some seasonings and rice and they had a complete meal ready in under an hour and a half! Not bad for school kids....and the verdict all round....well all I could hear was yummmm *the children in the photos are 2 of my own

17.01.2022 If you’re not going to show up please do the courtesy of letting me know ASAP. I understand that things change and children get sick, work commitments arise...I’m a mother and a busy person myself but not showing up means you have taken away an opportunity for another child and that really makes me upset. I wait a good 15 minutes for no shows in case people are running late which again affects other people.... I don’t do this for the money, I do it for the love of seeing children happy and seeing them learn so you not showing up only hurts other children and that’s not ok with me. Thank you.

16.01.2022 The Family Table LOVES spaghetti faces and we love mess! What an amazing group of children for the first class of 2020! Old friends returning again and some new friends- even some from Sydney! ... One of the things I love most about doing this is watching how helpful the children are to each other. They arrive as strangers but leave as friends, often with dirty faces and full bellies

Today we made a simple and delicious pork mixture that we created 2 dishes from. ... Full of healthy ingredients, all of the children agreed it was a winner!

09.01.2022 In light of the fire devastation surrounding our community I have been trying to think of ways my family can help those in need. We’ve support different organisations with monetary contributions but I still feel like there’s more I can do. I’m reaching out to my lovely client base to ask if anyone knows of any families directly who have lost so much during this time. I would like to give the children of these families some gift vouchers to attend any of my upcoming school ho...liday programs. Tuesday 21/01- Cheeseburger Sausage Rolls- the children will combine two favourites in to one delicious dish 10am-12:30pm $45... Wednesday 22/01-Mexican Enchilada bake- the children will learn how to create a delicious Mexican beef mix that can be used in a variety of ways 10am-12:30pm $45 All classes are inclusive of morning tea and refreshments and the children will bring home what they create!

08.01.2022 School Holiday Class 4- Spaghetti Carbonara & Garlic Bread The children had a great time yesterday in our last class for these holidays. My children would eat pasta every day if I let them! ... Some of the children in this group had never tasted pasta carbonara before. I love the fact that children are still so eager to cook and taste something they have never tried before....and as expected, it got a big thumbs up from all of them. They even had time to sit down and eat together. Sharing food and eating together is often something that’s lost in our busy day to day lives. The dining table in my home will always be a place to share, come together and share the experiences of life Thank you to all of the children I’ve had the pleasure of spending time with these holidays

03.01.2022 My beautiful children cooked dinner tonight. A sort of chicken, broccoli, cashew stir-fry served on lettuce....a bit of a twist on San choy bow because feeding 7 of us we would probably need at least 6 lettuces to make cups Under the instruction of my husband while I laid on my bed....perfect Sunday!
