25.01.2022 FACE COVERING RULE Following an announcement made on Sunday 19 July, if you live within metropolitan Melbourne or Mitchell Shire, you will now be required to wear a face covering when leaving your home. The face covering will need to cover both your nose and mouth. This new rule comes into effect from 11.59pm, Wednesday 22 July.... If you live in an apartment/strata complex, this rule applies to all common areas of your property, including hallways, lifts, stairwells and the entrance lobby. When you leave your apartment, you must wear a mask. This rule has been introduced for the safety of you and your fellow residents, to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and flatten the curve. A nice idea is to keep your face masks in a noticeable spot near the front door, so you remember the next time you leave your home.
