24.01.2022 This little counter display is full of good friends - the beautiful handmade mat is from a very talented Gold Coast friend, the vintage sewing tools were handed down to a friend from her Auntie, and then passed on to me. And the original print of The Magic Faraway Tree was gifted to me by another lovely group of friends to celebrate the purchase of the shop. It's such a great way to be able to see all these special things every day.

24.01.2022 School holidays have arrived! We will be open tomorrow over lunch, and then again Saturday morning. For the rest of the holidays we will be open as often as we are able to, hoping for most mornings :) Please give me a call on 0428104024 if you can't catch us in the shop and would like to have a look! We have cute wooden prams like this one for sale, and also have one in the shop for kids to try out! We also have a good range of baby blankies and teethers in stock.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday 9am-12pm Thursday 10.30-1.30pm We are a very child friendly store with lots of toys, colouring and books for kids to check out, as well as comfy chairs to have a rest in! So please feel free to pop in and say hi if you are downtown and need a break from shopping and jobs!

17.01.2022 Thanks to everyone who helped make the first round of Christmas Photos a great success! Santa and Leon will be back in the shop tomorrow from 9am-10am if you missed out - I will put up a reminder later :)

16.01.2022 At least 10 years of grass, clippings, flood mud, debris and who knows what else has been cleaned out of here this week - the amazing Loomy is starting on cleaning the inside of the shed and workshop tomorrow. It is going to be amazing out the back here one day... I have plans for a big kids play area and eating space, including a fairy garden with a magic entrance. So lovely to have a blank canvas, hoping we can keep it this tidy until we are ready to take the next steps with it!

05.01.2022 I love gifting classic, eco friendly wooden toys (that don't require batteries!,) and so we have a good range for sale in store - including farm sets, prams, motorbikes, rainbows and pinball!

04.01.2022 We are back! The Faraway Tree Charleville will be open tomorrow, Friday and Saturday from 9am-12pm, and then will resume standard weekly hours once school starts next week. Here are a few photos from our trip to the 160 year old property Yarral - just next to the Paroo River west of Wyandra and south of Cooladdi.
