24.01.2022 Where's a dog to begin? So much room! We are pet friendly by pior arrangement and ask that you keep your dogs under control (eg not chasing our cattle!) and keep smelly wet dogs outside.

23.01.2022 The Scenic Rim is aptly named. So many spectacular views. Our farm is an ideal base from which to explore and we are happy to provide guests with some nearby suggested spots.

22.01.2022 King Parrots are just some of the spectacular birds we have visit our farm. This bloke was enjoying the apple tree next to our cabin.

20.01.2022 When the weather starts to warm up, head for one of the nearby swimming holes. Darlington is just 5 minutes away and is a great place to cool off in the freshwater upper reaches of the Albert River. And when you're done, call into the camp site shop for an ice cream.

16.01.2022 These boys will sometimes greet visitors at the gate, or come to say goodbye. This one in particular is very placid and likes a head scratch. If you find them at the gate when you arrive, just shoo them away so you can get your car in. Dont be shy, they are used to being yelled at!

15.01.2022 The figs are coming. After severe drought last year with no crop of figs, looks like we will get a few this year.. in a few months time. This one is the size of a marble now but will mature. Guests at The Farm at Duck Creek are welcome to forage for what’s in season. All organic. No pesticides. Just pick. Then eat!

08.01.2022 Pizza making at the farm. You need a hot oven with glowing coals... so wait for a fire to die down from what’s pictured. Make your pizza, and when the oven is right, push the coals to one side and slide in your pizza. They should only take 3 to 5 minutes. Then eat!

07.01.2022 So happy you enjoyed your farm stay Lachlan & Kate

05.01.2022 Late afternoon and early evening is a favourite time at the farm. The big spotlight lights up the ironbark against the western sky, and if you’ve timed it right, the moon rises above the ridge to the East. It’s also when possums and sugar gliders come down, looking for their next meal.

02.01.2022 The grapes are coming! Spring means bud burst and baby grapes on the grapevines. Give it a month or two and you could be picking grapes on the outdoor terrace. In the meantime, the mulberry tree is loaded.

01.01.2022 Spring means mulberries at Duck Creek! And lemons. And mandarins. And oranges. Guests are welcome to forage for fruit straight off our trees. We also have growing (depending on season) figs, mangoes, cherry guava, macadamia, persimmon, olives, peach and nectarine, and native apple. No chemical sprays, so no need to wash the fruit. Just pick and eat!
