25.01.2022 Experiences in running a non for profit club and playing sports my whole life have shown that not everybody has the same opportunities... I have decided to offe...r this annual scholarship as one of our ways to give back to the community. Spartans Basketball WA respected the community a lot... and the position some families are in. Sometimes it’s a big family with a lot of kids wanting to play sport ... sometimes it’s financial struggle that has hit families out of nowhere... Spartans would always find ways to include everyone and help cover fees. Knowing some clubs aren’t in the same position, the opportunities out there can be limited. So TJA wants to offer one young athlete the opportunity to play at any level and any sport (beginners to state level players), up to $500 to help cover any fees. Maybe you’ve always wanted to try WABL but the fees have always been too much, or you’re child has wanted to play a sport for a while but financially it has been too difficult! Please complete the link below or in the Instagram biography (link). If this isn’t for you, please share for others to see and hopefully to get something out of it! The money will be transferred via cheque or bank transfer to the nominated sporting club... and the sports aren’t limited to ball sports... any sports! The catch: The child who receives this MUST attend school at an appropriate standard and attempt to better their education. Failure to do so, will be negotiated with the club.
