25.01.2022 Things have been slowly coming along, the plan is to launch with two 12 week foundation programs, shape and strength. Everything I’ve done, every method and technique, to achieve the great results with clients over the years has been crystallised into these programs. Everything is laid out for you so that all you need to worry about is hitting the targets and you can be sure to get your result. And the great thing my methods is that I can guarantee your result. ... You can also take up personalised training, but you would get much more value out of doing that after you finish the foundation programs because you will learn so much from them in a structured way and in your own time. Just have a bit more filming to do of some exercise demonstrations, and then some educational content on the methods then we are all set. Let me know if there’s anything in particular you like to see in there content wise, I’ll do my best.

12.01.2022 Most people just want to be able to enjoy their lifestyle without putting on too much fat. In that case the best strategy you can follow is to increase your metabolic rate. That way they can indulge every now and then without overfeeding. Which means you should invest into building muscle, because it increases BMR significantly. ... Sure the brain, liver and kidneys have a higher metabolic, they’re just not as easy to grow as muscle is.

10.01.2022 This is a readout that I get from each of the clients I have working with me. I should have implemented something like this years ago It syncs the data that MyFitnessPal, Fitbit and Apple health collect and puts it in one handy readout. It also stores workouts, tracks progression on lifts and calculates total resistance, and it has been very refreshing as a coach to be able to see all the information in one place and look for possible relationships, say between calorie... input and strength progression for example. Now I just want to say I know that the whole data thing is a sensitive issue with people concerned about their digital footprint. My argument however is that you are giving away powerful data to marketing and advertising companies all the time anyway, so why not use some of it for yourself? There is an issue here in that it relies on your input into MyFitnessPal, which can take time to do, but you probably already spend a lot of time doing admin anyway, just always for someone else and not often for you. One day the technology will be powerful enough that it’ll scan food and input everything automatically but until then it’s up to you. Anyway just thought I’d share, still in the process of testing everything out to iron out the bugs and customise it with a bunch of purple (lol). Soon I’ll make this online training app available to the public, and if you like you can work with me and we can use the technology to fine tune what you’re doing to get you the best results, at a fraction of the cost of personal training, so stay tuned if you are interested in that.

09.01.2022 When going after a shaping or muscle building goal, I think it’s very important to take the muscles through a range of motions to challenge different fibres in the tissue to grow. Crossovers are great because they let you conveniently take the hands all the way across the body for a peak contraction, making it a good starting movement or finisher for your chest workout.
