14.01.2022 August marks the beginning of potato planting season. Darling husband whipped together this garden bed for me today and I'm hoping the chicken poop will bring out the best of my potatos this year! Don't forget to plant potatos in a sunny (or part shade) area of the garden in loose soil and keep soil moist.

13.01.2022 Our gorgeous nasturtium seeds have finally welcomed us with all of their glory this morning. Did you know, nasturtiums are not only a great colour block in your garden but they will knock your socks off with their peppery taste. Plus, it's not just the flowers and buds that are packed with flavour; the young leaves are tender and edible as well. They are packed full of Vit C and their leaves have great antibiotic properties. They self seed and are a great snack for your chooks aswell! Why wouldn't you grow some!
