To secure your hens please call the shop, with payment, on 4056 2510. White and Black hens will be available with this batch, however numbers may be limited.... Hennies will be available AFTER 2pm on Tuesday. We make sure the hens have had a rest from travel to us, food and a good drink of water before we allow them to go home with you. If you have a carry box, please bring with you for collection of your hens. We cannot hold without payment guys, so please call us 4056 2510. 11.01.2022 AMBASSADOR NEWS Our Ambassador Kristie Sheehan has been busy getting out there and doing us proud competing in Endurance Riding. Just like the rest of the world the Equine Sports have been affected with COVID19, however with COVIDsafe plans events were able to commence. The first event for FNQ was in August. ... Kristie riding her beautiful mare Jensems Coco Couture AKA Rosie completed the 80km event placing equal 1st Lightweight in time of 6 hours 25mins. The following month saw Kristie line up again in the 80km event, this time placing 1st Lightweight in a time of 5 hours 25mins, 2 hours ahead of the next horse and over a challenging course. Rosie was also awarded Best Conditioned horse. The final event for the year was a 3 day event. Kristie and Rosie rode all three days riding 80km each day. They placed 1st Lightweight and was awarded Best Conditioned horse for each day. They were also the only combination to complete all three days totaling 240km over a challenging course in warm conditions. Riding times for each day was Day 1 - 6 hours 52mins, Day 2 - 7 hours 32mins, Day 3 - 6 hours 34mins. This was Rosie’s first attempt at 3 consecutive riding days. We would like to congratulate this pair and can’t wait to see what they can achieve out on the tracks next year. The Endurance season is over for the year and will commence again next April.

ABOUT THE ROLE The role requires the applicant to be fit, healthy and able to exercise sound levels of common sense. Successful applicants must be able to work within a close knit team or autonomously, have a strong work ethic and have a quality approach to all tasks they undertake. As this is a combined role of storeman and retail assistant, the role is needing flexibility from manual handling to customer service. THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT MUST Enjoy coming to work and providing a high level of service and reliability to our diverse customer base. You must be hard working, self motivated and be physically fit with the ability to communicate with a wide variety of customers. Flexibility is a must, as each day can be different, as we meet the needs of our customers. Good communication skills and be able to maintain accurate records. Computer skills, a current drivers license and a Forklift Licence is essential. DUTIES AND TASKS Duties include receiving incoming stock, maintaining stock records, unloading stock, maintenance of stock in store including hay shed and walk in freezer.
