23.01.2022 This weekend the message from the Fish Gate, "Prophet! And Priest!! And King!!! Oh My!!!!" (based on Matt. 2:1-12) will livestream - but at a time and day yet to be decided. Quite possible Saturday night - but you will be able to catch it afterwards. Or alternatively you could join us at our 5pm service at church on Sunday - it's always good to see one another in real and not virtual ways!

11.01.2022 Just to be clear in the middle of the muddle of mixed messages!!: our landlords have asked that we NOT meet on site tomorrow, November 22, but have said that we can plan to meet on site the following Sunday, November 29. 03.01.2022 Hi all. The Fish Gate is reverting to the old 'Lockdown Combo' for at least the next two Sundays. We will livestream a message here on FaceBook at 5pm and follow that at 6pm with a Zoom meeting for prayer, fellowship, encouragement, and to share in the Lord's Supper (you need to arrange your own bread and wine/grapejuice beforehand.) This Sunday we will be hearing of events from the end of the book of Numbers, the last threats to Israel before they enter the land of promise. ...The Sunday following (still meeting electronically) we will begin the great season of Advent, that season of hope, anticipation and joy. It is disappointing - but important - that we have this six day lockdown in our state, followed by another 8 days of restrictions (still to be announced.) I hope that, if you are stressed or distressed by this situation, you know you may contact me or Martin Carney, my other elder in the Church. Thank you for your patience over the past couple of weeks that I was away on emergency leave (doctor's orders!) due to stress and exhaustion. I have appreciated that time for rest (about three hours more sleep each night than I was getting before) and for regaining a bit more equilibrium in dealing with the various stresses in ministry and life.
