15.01.2022 I can’t wait to be able to make more centrepieces like this for some very special weddings and events next year. There is a bit of a ritual I tend to go through when creating. First thing is music. Always! Either classical or folk, it is my greatest companion. Second is some form of aroma therapy because it helps me be present and in the moment. And lastly is some flower meditation. Taking some time to to admire each flowers beauty and natural forms. If I’m working with scent...ed foliage, rolling it in my hand to release its natural scent. Then I feel I am in a creative and present mood to start arranging. So much heart goes into putting these arrangements together and the early mornings, market rush and hours of flower prep before hand seem to melt away because I am doing something that I love.
