06.01.2022 Hi there Here is a job we have just finished. Shelby cobra with a 460 big block, dedicated gas. Vehicle was running a bit rough. This is what we found when we stripped it down.

06.01.2022 Hi there We had a hard one to diagnose this time. Vehicle came in with warning lights on the dash; TCL( traction control), engine oil light and air bag light. Diagnosing should have taken hours but turned into days. So the short story will be the best one to tell. The scan tool had difficulty reading the data. The scan tool wouldn’t talk to the ABS module. We tested the ABS module & found it was faulty & after we repaired it the scan tool was still struggling to read with th...e data. We were able to reset all warning lights but they all reappeared.. so an underlying fault became obvious. Let me say, resetting these warning lights wasn’t simple & supported the idea of another fault. The issue is the scan tool doesn’t actually tell us exactly what module is faulty. We had to dig deeper. After much diagnosing, we found the air bag module was faulty. Sound simple? Welcome to the wonderful world of wiring! In summary, it is hard to explain in short but gives you an idea... Until next time See more
