25.01.2022 Huge thank you to Big Sandel Mures and Ralfy Mc Forehead for inviting us to perform at Rektango #livestream last Friday. We had a blast being able to perform again and were wonderfully surprised that viewers kindly sent us a tidy sum in tips. We have decided to donate our Rektango performance tips to the Australian Children's Music Foundation - ACMF - ... The ACMF provide free, long-term music programs and instruments to over 1,700 disadvantaged and Indigenous children and youth at risk annually, across Australia within schools, juvenile detention centres, music therapy in hospitals, and in Indigenous and isolated regions. Huge kudos to everyone who watched us and extra to those who tipped. Planning our wedding from interstate threw up a few challenges, and choosing the musical entertainment was certainly one of those. Once we had contacted the band, any nerves were quickly calmed by Russell's prompt and informative communications. When the big day came around, Hugh and Declan absolutely nailed it. Their acoustic set during dinner thoroughly impressed our guests (a...nd us!) and their song choices for the DJ set were spot on. The boys were relaxed but professional and were accommodating to all our requirements. The whole process from our initial enquiry and first meeting with Russell and the boys, to the ongoing communication in the lead up to the wedding was seamless.
