If you have already registered or planning to register, please get a head start and download the @myfitnesspal app. Create a login the go to menu(more)/friends/add friends via username and add me: roxywallis. 12.01.2022 Hi there and happy Monday, Using today to make from changes? Why not start here! Please read a little tid-bit from my up-and-coming 2019 Weight Loss Challenge booklet:... "Hi friends, I’m back!!! For those of you who did not participate in my last challenge, welcome. Get ready to put down your keto plan, fuck off your detox and light your ’28 day shred’ planner on fire!!! Do all these things sound familiar? Don’t worry, I’m guilty of it as well. But if you have tried them all, then you know, like me, that you wont last at it because it wont fit in with your lifestyle. You start out good on keto, but a few social events pass and your commitment starts to thin. Then Easter rolls around and all hell break lose. Shredding in 28 days sounds great, but it wont be a long term solution. Now we can blame every thing under the sun as to why we cant lose weight- genetics (if I had a dollar for every overweight, over 40 woman who told me that, well you get the picture), thyroid (please!), family wont eat that food (grow up) and the worst possible thing that you can say to a personal trainer/business owner/mother of 2 I don’t have time. Or we can all get real for a minute and just admit to the people around us that we put too much food in gobs. There is nothing like a little science to put thing into perspective- too many calories and not enough energy expenditure= weight gain / eating less calories then body requires= weight loss. Those people you know who did really well on paleo, SureSlim, TrimSpa, Fasting, etc. guess what?? They all lost weight because knowingly or unknowingly, they were in a calories deficit. Now, I don’t deny that there out outside factors that affect the way a person loses weight, but most of these minorities hang on to the these little barriers and wear them like a badge. Plus they are still eating too many calories and therefore wont lose weight." Challenge Registration Forms are available from the front desk at Ignition Fitness, 32 George Street, Millicent. 05.01.2022 If you are fence-sitting about the 2019 Weight Loss Challenge, here are a few questions answered that may help you jump on board: Who can do it: anyone over 18.... How many workouts do you need to do: heaps/some/none, commit to as many as you can. This challenge is not exercise based. There are no credits (in calories) for the workouts you do. What will I need: A body. Facebook and the MyFitnessPal app will be extremely handy, but not required. In some cases, a set of scales wouldn't hurt either, but again not a necessity. Is the MyFitnessPal app easy to use: Yes. The MyFitnessPal app is the biggest tracking app in the world with over 8 million entries. **Download it now and start planning around with it. Do you have to be a member of the gym: No, you can join during the challenge if you want, but totally up to you. **you will be required to weight in every week on the gym scales (if you live locally). How long will it go for: 5 weeks How much does it cost: $65 per person Can I do this challenge if I live elsewhere: Yes! I already have 4 people signed up who live in other states. How will it work: The Food Coach will supply you with set a calorie goal. You are to eat your calorie goal (on average) every day or over a week. You will still get to enjoy foods you like, but in moderation. This is how EVERY PERSON should try and lose weight as this is the most sustainable approach. Can I do this challenge if I am pescartarian/vegetarian/vegan: Yes. The 30 page food planner will not be tailored to your food requirements, but you can track all food as normal and if you would like to use any of my recipes, have a discussion with me regarding any changes you will need to make and how this will change the calories. Can I do this challenge if I am currently doing Weight Watches: Yes, weight watches point system is just another way of tracking calories. You will need to change over to using calories, rather then points, for the duration of this challenge. Is it keto appropriate: No. Is it a detox: No.

02.01.2022 Amusing how ads like this one were prevalent in the 1950-60s a lot less processed crap around to be consumed and the population concerned about being too skinny! #thefoodcoachsa #foodcoaching #dietsbackintime #healthyeating #millicent #southaustralia Posted @withrepost @velvetcoke Advertisements for gaining weight were quite popular in 1960's and 1950's magazines. They would promote curves and discourage skinny bodies with texts like "Let's beat it, here comes the skinny dame!" or "Men wouldn't look at me when I was skinny!" Needless to say, they would promote the unhealthy way to get thicker instead of a healthy one.

02.01.2022 Hi there to my followers, The 2019 Weight Loss Challenge will be excepting registrations up until 7pm this Friday the 15th. If you have made an enquiry regarding this challenge there is still time. Pick up a registration form from Ignition Fitness (32 George Street, Millicent) a pay your fee of $65.... If you have any question before you register, check out my Q&As in a earlier post or shoot me a question via Facebook **This is not an exercise based challenge. While I would encourage every person to engage in physical activity, at least 4+ days per week, we are going to address calorie intake rather than energy out.
