Effective from 7:30pm on 26 August, our hotel will be closed until further notice. ... The guest last dined at our hotel on Friday 14 August at 6:30pm. As a licensed venue, we already have very high standards of cleaning and hygiene in place, and the venue and adjacent BWS has a detailed deep clean scheduled overnight on 26 August. We have provided QLD Health with contact details of staff and customers at the hotel on 14 August. The wellbeing of our guests, team and communities is our highest priority, and in line with public health advice, we are taking all necessary steps to ensure ongoing safety in our venue. If you visited Forest Lake Tavern on Friday 14 August and have since displayed symptoms, or do so in the next two weeks, we urge you to contact the Covid hotline on 13 42 68 and follow their recommendation on testing and isolating.
