23.01.2022 This morning we'll be at the Plane Tree Precinct in Denmark from 11am installing an awesome FireWise demonstation garden! If you're down that way, come and chat to the team about what we do to mitigate the risk of bushfire when designing an area. What plants and products we choose, what's the best layout, etc. There's lots to learn! 20.01.2022 Can't wait to join the open day! Who'll be down in Cowaramup on November 8th? Hope to see you there!

20.01.2022 How's this for an ISO Project?!? Well actually, Chris undertook the 'Going Green to Beat the Isolation Blues' project when he was in proper lockdown/isolation - but during this COVID downtime, he got cracking with our 'Funky Shed Conversion'! Check this out! He stripped out the old garage in Hami Hill and turned it into a new glorious office space - incredible northern light, insulation using Kingspan air-cells, and glammed it up with recycled timber and 'corro' walls!... The space is now up and running and ready to go as a hot-desking office space. Please contact Chris or Matt via the details on the flyer if you're interested!

18.01.2022 Ecotecture and The Forever Project are proud to launch the funky new Share Shed at the Hamilton Hill Sustainable Home. This space is absolutely gorgeous and in such a great location. If you're interested in a shared office space for any amount of time, please get in touch!

16.01.2022 It has been a while since we've seen Greta's powerful message shared... so just wanted to remind everyone what we need to do!

16.01.2022 Post #2 for our 'Greening Greenslade' project - the beginning! With funding from the City of Cockburn we were able to transform another blank, boring and heat-sinking piece of pavement! A 'Pop Up Forest' featuring tough water wise plants and a host of recycled materials has appeared in front of The Organic Collective's store on Greenslade St in Hami Hill.... This will reduce urban heat island effect of the asphalt and creates a more attractive space for people and local ecosystems. Huge thanks to Baileys Grow Gardens, Dawson's Garden World, FormBoss WA - Green Earth Enterprises, Ellenby Tree Farm and Red Sand Supplies for helping make this happen!

16.01.2022 In light of everything that has happened over the past 2 weeks, it's now more important than ever to ensure your hobby farm/rural property not only thrives in Perth's tough climate; but is resilient in the face of bushfire. A well designed and resiilient property could be the diffference between total destruction or a strong defence.. it could literally be the difference between life and death for you and/or your livestrock. On Saturday we're hosting this full day workshop event at the Muresk institute (just 1hour from Perth). If you'd like to join us, there's a few spots still available - registration link shown on the flyer!

15.01.2022 So... we've been pretty busy recently! With funding and inspiration from the City of Cockburn's Urban Forest Plan - we took on the task of 'Greening Greenslade' with The Organic Collective last week. Another blank, boring and heat-sinking piece of pavement has been transformed with one of our 'Pop Up' Forests!... A 'forest' featuring tough water wise plants and a host of recycled materials has popped up in front of The Organic Collectives retail store and warehouse. This will reduce urban heat island effect of the asphalt and aims to transform the area into a more attractive space for people and local wildlife. The Urban Forest Plan aims to enhance livability in the local area; as trees and urban forests are known to improve health and wellbeing. The Organic Collective contributed to the greening of the space by adding espalier fruit trees as a green wall on the north side of the car park, along with a green canopy of deciduous vines beneath the front awning of the building. Stay tuned for the pics! Massive thanks to Baileys Grow Gardens, Ellenby Tree Farm, FormBoss WA - Green Earth Enterprises, Dawson's Garden World and Red Sand Supplies for helping make this happen!

08.01.2022 We were very glad to hear about the stack of executive orders signed in the White House yesterday, proving the new administration is taking an interest in the health of our planet. We're a long way back in the race, but we're hopeful that we'll soon see a global shift in the attitude towards a sustainable future

08.01.2022 Who's down Denmark way and wants to spend their Saturday morning with us?!?!

07.01.2022 The solution to the ongoing threat of fire is to create landscapes that have been designed to reduce ember attack and radiant heat; whilst being beautiful, productive, waterwise, AND waste wise. We call these 'FireWise' landscapes as they will, IF designed and managed correctly, make a difference and make properties safer and more sustainable. Next Saturday we'll be running a full day FireWise Planning & Design workshop in Denmark. We implore you to join us if you live in the... beautiful south west. As the frequency of bushfires increases with our changing climate, it's essential you know how to make your home and property as safe and resilient as you can. PLACES ARE LIMITED - REGISTER NOW https://www.trybooking.com/bnebf
