Earlier in the week I popped into @thefreshpressofoakleigh and what I found were quite possibly the best Toasted Sandwiches in Melbourne, not only that they serve outstanding Coffee and have a huge range of delicious Fresh Pressed Juices to keep even the most health conscious human happy. Only four months old and nestled in the heart of Eaton Mall in Oakleigh @thefreshpressofoakleigh is a quaint alfresco Cafe serving up super tasty Toasted Sandwiches loaded with super Fresh ingredients (like the Turkey driven Larry David pictured) and the best part is there’s nothing on their menu over $10. After trying a bunch of different Toasted Sandwich and Juice combinations (I couldn’t stop they were all so bloody good) I landed on The Funky Pig Toastie paired with a Fresh Pressed Rockmelon and Pineapple Juice as my two absolute favourites. If you’re in or around the Oakleigh area and looking for the perfect place to kick back, relax, grab a killer Toastie and a Fresh Pressed Juice or Coffee @thefreshpressofoakleigh should be locked in your foodie radar immediately.
