20.01.2022 Thank you Stephanie for the limes& cumquats,your kind gift has helped unleash some creativity that has been buried of late! Cumquat & Apple Chutney with a dash of brandy, bit unnusual,would of used pistachios if I'd had them,made do with a few almonds,will have to wait 4 weeks for flavours to merge . Dehydrated some of limes for talk next Thursday for Derwent Valley Garden club.

16.01.2022 First cake is Elderflower Crunch I made for Garden Club,couldn't taste that one beforehand,,2nd one is my version of recipe, Banana cake with Banana,Apple & Quince Syrup mixed with sugar and drizzled overtop of cake,skewered holes inable syrup to penetrate inside as well,very nice ,I needed two slices to be sure it was edible before Ian takes to his dad!

15.01.2022 My limoncello is infusing away nicely, thank you Anne for the lemons,and Spinach Tort is a great way to get rid of loads of spinach,a whole huge saucepan (of it) went in,tastes yummy hot or cold,I used risoni ,instead of the arborio.
