20.01.2022 Last week was 3 shows in 3 days. Today was 3 dance floors in a matter of hours. 10.30am Balgownie 12pm Balgownie 2pm Unanderra ... Massive thanks to Louisa, Emma, Kristina and Angie for accomodating a crazy schedule and helping it run seamlessly and definitely hygienically. Kindy Korner has been a part of the Funky Bugs family for close to 20 years. I am truly blessed. The bugs will sleep soundly tonight.

18.01.2022 Just finished a run of shows based around Mothers Day for Little Zaks child care centres. What an amazing experience in INCREDIBLE services. These guys leave no doubt they are driven by delivering the absolute highest possible standards in every area. Thank you so much to the kids, the staff and of course the mums for a tremendously enjoyable week. ... The Bugs had an awesome time too.
18.01.2022 Awesome show today in Woonona. Beautiful kids and the most amazing staff. 3 of whom have worked together in this centre only for over 20 years. That’s extremely rare. The building and it’s story were amazing too. Originally a post office and constructed in 1903, now heritage listed and displays some amazing features like the queen’s stamp on the vents. Received a visit from the Olympic torch in 2000 and a few more visits from thirsty locals to the drinks shop across the road. Little and Loud

16.01.2022 WARNING: Very rare (first ever actually) ADULTS ONLY post. If youve seen the show in the past 15 years or so youve probably come across the cheeky chicken microphone. Generations of kids have uttered their names to hilarious response and its definitely a favourite part of the show for many. Well, not wanting to spoil the magic, but the cheeky chicken is actually a dog toy with its head chopped off and unspeakable modifications made to its ummmm, well youll see. ... The previous chook has probably punched out about 6-8 years of performances. Not a poultry effort by any means. But the old rooster is showing its age and as of tonight, theres a new bird in town. Introducing cheeky chicken the 4th. Looking forward to the next 6-8 years of fun and laughs. Apologies to the squeamish.

06.01.2022 Funky Fact - today marked the end of the longest gap between live performances since the Funky Bugs was launched 21 years ago. The 4 month and 17 day COVID-19 inspired drought was broken by the amazing staff and families at Elderslie Early Learning Centre. You guys were awesome!!! Thank you so much. With modifications made to the show to keep everyone safe it was a great success. Careful feedback was sought from the staff regarding appropriate levels of interaction and the... result was a unanimous... . The other good news is that I remembered all the words to the songs. Hope to see you at a show soon. The long break reminded me of just how much I love what I do. Its great to be back to bug ya !!
05.01.2022 Yesterday in Gregory Hills, one of most amazing preschools the Funky Bugs have ever visited. Featuring, a dance studio, a computer lab, a dedicated sports coordinator, an athletics track, basketball court and tennis court, 5 buses for pickup and drop off, an adjacent swim centre, more staff than most primary schools and ....... 300 children per day!!!!!!!!!!!!! Unbelievable.
