19.01.2022 WHITE ASPARAGUS DINNER Tuesday 21st October 2014 5 course Dego $98 per person... plus matching wines $45 per person Regarded as the Queen of Vegetables, asparagus has always been one of the supremest gourmet dining pleasures in the world. White Asparagus is a delicacy in Germany, Holland and Belgium. Locally grown in Bickley, Perth Hills, we now can add WA as well to the list of places producing this gourmet delight. The season in Germany is very restricted, harvest starts on a particular day in May and finishes on exactly the 24th of June, but during the season there is no restaurant that doesn’t offer regional specialities prepared with White Asparagus. 06.01.2022 Juniper Estate Wine Dinner with Mark Messenger / Winemaker Juniper Estate Tuesday, 30th September 2014 Start 7pm During his travels to New Zealand, America and Europe Mark has done vintages at Robert Mondavi in Napa, Cloudy Bay New Zealand and has worked for Veuve Clicquot in California on a special zinfandel project. In Australia he worked at Balgownie, Brown Brothers and Cape Mentel before joining Juniper Estate in Margaret River. Mark has been nominated for this year’s G...ourmet Travellers Winemaker of the Year. Results will be out shortly.
