09.01.2022 Good fact: Mr Nurdon Serico (recognised in The Gap Pillars at Walton Bridge Park) was born in 1933. Nurdon served as Chairman of The Cricket Committee at The Gap Football Club and was the first Aboriginal person in Australia to become a fully qualified Radiographer in 1975. Nurdon has served on the committees of The Gap Historical Society and Balaangala Garden.
