23.01.2022 THE GEP HYPEREXTENSION An exercise used to work on the Posterior Chain and an effective one at that. It is mainly used as an Accessory Exercise to improve motions that require Hip Hinging such as picking things up off the ground. It is similar to a Deadlift and requires a Hip Hinge Motion to perform correctly. The moment of the back should stay constant while performing this exercise meaning the back should stay still while the hip moves.... There are obviously other ways of doing it to work other muscles but here in this video we are focusing mainly on the Glutes and Hamstrings. See more

03.01.2022 THE GARAGE EP LATERAL RAISES FOR LATERAL DELTS An exercise perceived to be bad or injury causing by most people.... There isn't really a movement that is bad, it just depends on your Anatomy, Technique, Strength etc. The reason that Abducting your Shoulders above 90 will likely cause Impingement is only due to the fact that most people like to dip their bodies down which in fact makes them Abduct their Shoulders to the point where they are past their End Range. Just build on your technique and know where your End Range is to perform it safely. You can also place your arms forward slightly to allow the Shoulder Joint to move more freely instead of continuously jamming the joint from an anatomy stand point. And build your Rotator Cuffs to Stabilise the Shoulder and prevent injury when doing heavier weights. As always, get a check up with your Health Professional first to see if this is suitable for you.
