Learn how to grow delicious organic oyster, shiitake, enoki and other mushrooms at home. This practical workshop will take you through the basics of mushroom propagation. 17.01.2022 One of the gardens neighbors noticed us working hard on the pizza oven & brought over a home made apple pie complete with cream! This is what building community is all about. Hopefully we will be repaying the favor with fresh baked pizza & bread soon.

12.01.2022 Does anyone know when you should pick olives ? We have a tree full at the garden but not sure if we should pick and process them now or not !

11.01.2022 The December Working Bee and the December Fruit & Vegi SWAP will be held on SUNDAY the 8th Sorry for any confusion but we realised most of our regulars would be a way or busy at other events on our normal days Anyway hope to see you there !

11.01.2022 LIQUID FOLIAGE FERTILISER Place arm fulls of the Magic herbs: Comfrey, Stinging Nettle, Yarrow and Tansy in a 20 litre bucket. Fill this up with water and scre...w on a lid to stop air getting in. This will ferment and in about 3 weeks ready to use. Put 10% of this liquid in a watering can and top up with 90% water. Spray this all over the vegetables about every 2 weeks!

11.01.2022 I just tried out the screen printing jig I made over the holidays - seems to work pretty good.

10.01.2022 The Gardens Pizza Oven close to being finished!

10.01.2022 6 pm After our working bee the pizza the oven was still hot so used it to bake some more bread and baked fruit with crumble topping.
