07.01.2022 NEW YEAR'S EVE A DAZZLING EXPERIENCE AT TWIN TOWNS As many members are aware, Twin Towns has cancelled NYE fireworks at Jack Evans Boat Harbour and Club Banora ...this year, instead putting the money towards a huge $440,000 donation to bushfire and drought appeals. BUT, those who pay an annual visit to the border for NYE definitely won’t be disappointed! The giant 17 x 5 metre, high-resolution screen and LED lights on the exterior of the Twin Towns building will become a dynamic digital canvas, featuring fireworks displays from around Australia and the world. Twin Towns turns on the dazzling lightshow every hour, on the hour from 7pm NSW (6pm Qld). At midnight NSW (11pm Qld), see the live broadcast of fireworks over Sydney Harbour, followed by Brisbane’s spectacular fireworks at 1am NSW ( midnight QLD). Invite family, friends or visitors to share the experience and be sure to bring the kids. Here’s a hot tip for members, guests and visitors head to the outdoor terrace at Mantra Twin Towns, just across the road from the main Club. You’ll find the best spot on the border with a bird’s eye view of the screen. Bring your camera and be sure to post some pics.

03.01.2022 Dear Guests, The Garland Apartments remains open to welcome all our guests in these unprecedented times. In this time of caution due to novel coronavirus (COVID-19) - we want to personally assure you that we are unwavering in our level of care, taking proactive measures in our control to ensure a safe and clean environment at our property for both the enjoyment and safety of our guests... Covid 19 Virus is of concern to all of us at The Garland however with new policies and procedures in place we are operating as normal and have implemented a common-sense approach in dealing with the Virus. We have implemented further cleaning procedures ensuring high stand of cleaning throughout the property not limited to but including the following:- 1. Introduction a premium grade disinfectant. 2. Signage in all common area toilets and the two (2) lifts. 3. Hand Sanitiser/ Wipes on the Reception Counter. 4. We spray all keys and lift buttons on a regular daily basis. 5. We treat Reception surfaces and counter three (3) times a day minimum. 6. We have advised our contract cleaners to chemically treat each apartment prior to arrival of a new guest including:- all interior door handles all cupboard and drawer handles taps and faucets remote controls light switches power points appliance mechanisms (kettle handles, microwave buttons etc) toilets We understand that many of our guests are perhaps more vulnerable then others at this time. To that end we have will suspend our cancelation policy for all booking up to the end of March 2020 and will refund in full or move your booking to a later date. (subject to availability) Please be assured that Wendy, Kim, Cathryn, Nina, Sam and I are taking all necessary precautions in minimise the effects of Covid 19 Virus.
