18.01.2022 Hot tip: if you’re working to a tighter budget, speak to your florist about where and how you can re-use your flowers. Your bridal flowers can sometimes be re-incorporated into a really stylish bridal table setting. We think this looks pretty lovely. What do you think?

16.01.2022 ... And just like that weddings are back on for us! It’s been a long month of waiting.... for what was meant to be one of our busiest months of the year! (***Insert SA 3 day lockdown - BAM!!) and all but 1 of our weddings postponed to 2021. Really looking forward to being back flowering before switching off for a Christmas break. If you are wanting a quote before Christmas, you’ve got 2 days until we are on holiday and away from the computer!! ... We’ll post some behind the scenes over the next few days cause we’ve missed it so much!!!

16.01.2022 ( ) ... 4. Allocate a day/night per week where you and your fiance discuss the wedding. This is for your sanity! Switch off the wedding chat the rest of the time. 5. A wedding a year out seems like a long time, but around work, life etc. it comes up very quickly. Organise your vendors as soon as possible in the planning stage to ensure they are available & you get the best vendors for your style and budget.... We have started to have bookings for April 2022 already. CRAZY I KNOW! Ultimately though, you want time leading up to your wedding just to relax and enjoy being engaged. 6. Re-purposing or getting creative to save those $. Consider where you can re-purpose across your wedding! Ie. Do you know someone who got married a couple of years ago and you could borrow or purchase their veil? (P.S. Mine’s available!) Do you really need to send save the date, the invite and a return RSVP card? Could to use your bonbonniere as a styling aspect on your tables? For florals, you can definitely re-purpose your ceremony flowers to your reception, ie. Signing table flowers moved inside to your wishing well, arbour to behind the bridal table, utilising your bridesmaids bouquets as part of your bridal table flowers. 16.01.2022 Teri with her bridesbabes

16.01.2022 ( ). 1. Allocate a budget for your whole wedding and break it down to specific components of your budget, ie. Wedding cake, DJ, florals, venue, bridal party etc. As you start researching, you’ll quickly learn if your budget meets your vision. You might need to make adjustments to components of the wedding you value less. 2. Once you have your budget, communicate this transparently to your future suppliers. I always... ask for your florals budget up front. This is so when quoting, I can make recommendations of styles or options which fit into your budget & style preferences. Ie. there is a huge difference between a $55 to $150 table centrepiece or a $130 to a $250 bridal bouquet. 3. Establish which components of your wedding you value most! For example, wedding florals were high on my values list so I allocated a higher budget to ensure I got what I wanted. Further, for those components which are less important to you - minimise research! For me, I was less invested in the wedding cake, however most wedding cake makers want you to do a tasting prior to booking. I found that this complicated the experience and something that I didn’t value as much, turned into a complex decision after 2-3 tastings. If we apply this to florals, if you value flowers less, you could talk to your florist about a colour and your budget you have allocated and leave the rest of the creative process up to your florist. - .... 15.01.2022 A classic bridal bouquet for A

14.01.2022 Dreaming up this weeks flower delivery drop. There is still time to order on the website > Link in bio. What colours / flowers should include this week?

13.01.2022 Sneak peak of our last wedding of the year tomorrow! It’s going to be a pretty one.

09.01.2022 Jade + Dan got married in the middle of Covid. They had to adjust plans & it rained... but none of that mattered. They had the most beautiful wedding!! (Just look at the pictures & that ‘I’m just married glow’ in the last picture). Jade’s bouquet has been so popular - I had so many enquires about it after I posted it on the wedding day. Those beautiful muted tones which contrast so nicely with those peach roses - so stunning. ... I’ll share more amazing pictures over the next couple of days taken by @whatpeteshot JUST GORGEOUS- Congrats you two. by @whatpeteshot @ Adelaide, South Australia See more

09.01.2022 Henry chose his own suit colours!! & What a bloody awesome job he did!!!! Teri didn’t even know the colour until our final design meeting. Maroon..... burgundy PAUSE: Add in nervous bride..... hehe Henry sent through a sneak peak of the suits just so I could make sure all the florals blended perfectly. If you zoom in you can see we added a purply/burgundy flower accent to blend the groom men’s jackets with the bridesmaids dresses. ... What a stellar day and beautiful bridal party. Top tip: if your fiancé wants to keep his outfit a secret too, we will do our bit to make sure everything ties in for you!!! Love this Super cool idea and makes it a little bit more special for the groom too to have a bit of a reveal! *Ol’ Bridezilla over here, ( ME ) wouldn’t of been able to handle the suspense... but I still love the idea for others!!!

07.01.2022 On Friday while I was doing florals for a wedding (pictures coming) my little lady took herself on an adventure and found herself a new little foster family, enjoying a 7 hour #stayaction. Lots of pats were had! Ofcourse, when you’re a florist the only way you know how to say THANK-YOU is with flowers.

04.01.2022 Monday Trivia Name these flowers? First person to guess ALL flowers in this video will receive $15 off their next order (to be used within 2 months). Do you know the names of all the flowers?

01.01.2022 Jade & her maids Anyone else having a city wedding? I think the pictures can be so special. @whatpeteshot
