23.01.2022 Flaky, dry skin BEGONE! We don't know about you, but we have definitely been noticing our skin drying out lately as we experience this cold wintery blast. Our home heating has been on A LOT, and it's showing. 12.01.2022 You may have noticed we’ve been a bit absent from socials lately. Being in Melbourne under a second even more restrictive lockdown has brought its challenges. Tending to a new business while home schooling my beautiful 5yo has meant some things have had to give way to me being able to look after myself a little too. I’m sure I’m not alone there! Rest assured that we will be more social soon, and we have plans to celebrate our milestone of six months in business on the 17th (what a six months it’s been!). I feel very fortunate be able to keep The Gifting Guild open right now, and am so grateful to all who have supported us in many different ways. 12.01.2022 What future will we create? We have partnered with Future Neutral, a Sydney based company, to offer you the option to carbon offset. Okay, here comes a bit of transparency (sorry for the math on a Monday!) Future Neutral use Certified Emission Reduction units (CERs), overseen by the United Nations. The offsets issued are recorded and tracked in the Kyoto Protocol’s registry system. ... The offset is calculated as 3% of your total purchase. 79% of that goes directly to the offset projects. The remaining 21% covers software development and everyday business expenses of Future Neutral. You will see the option just before you check out, it's as easy as ticking the box. As well as contributing 12% to the offset, we will also shortly make an announcement about further action we will be taking to address environmental concerns.
