18.01.2022 To all my valued clients, As you know the threat of Covid-19 is creeping closer to our doorstep. Many people have asked me what precautions I am taking considering it is such a hands on service I provide. Apart from diligent disinfection of surfaces and tools using alcohol, I have hand sanitizer and microshield soap available. I would ask in return that if you have any signs or symptoms of illness that ... you kindly delay your nail service until you are well. I myself will let you know immediately should I be forced to temporarily close my business due to ill health. 12.01.2022 Hi everyone, Well the time has come. Even though the government has said hairdressers and beauticians can stay open I have made the decision to shut up shop at this stage for the next 2 weeks. I love my clients dearly and if this helps them avoid at least one unnecessary trip so be it. I will however be available for phone chats and any advise necessary or if you just want to say gidday! Please bear with your nails and be kind to your hands. Remember anything broken (nail wise) can be fixed in the fullness of time. 08.01.2022 Wash yer hands Luv! Ok girls please keep my canvasses safe for me until I can start creating my artwork again!!. Youve got to wash........a lot!! But dont forget to moisturise as well. Soaps and hand sanitizer are going to strip all the natural oils out of your skin so try to keep up with the hand creams. Slap a bit of olive oil around your cuticles if thats all youve got to hand (geddit ?). This PSA is bought to you from The Girls Room. Stay safe and dont lick anyone!

07.01.2022 Covid safe plan: The Girls Room Appointments are made to schedule to allow for disinfecting between clients. Please be on time! If you are early please wait in your car until your app time (please text me to let me know you are here). If you are late we will have to reschedule. Please allow enough time to get to your appointment. When you arrive there will be hand sanitiser at the door. You will also be asked to wash your hands at the upstairs bathroom using the micro sh...ield handwash. If you have a face mask please bring it. If not I will supply you with one but there will be a charge of $2. (Facemasks are expensive now and I only have a very small supply). If you have any cold or flu symptoms please ring to reschedule your app. Only one person other than myself will be allowed in The Girls Room at any given time. This is to comply with social distancing laws according to the amount of space I have available. I need to have a register of guests so if you could please give me your full name, ph number and address so I may update my records. I know this all sounds very serious but these rules are being put in place to keep you and I safe and my business open. There will be government checks on whether covidsafe plans are being adhered to and fines for those who dont. Lets all do the right thing . Luv Lor

06.01.2022 OMGOMGOMG!! Have just taken delivery of the most delicious new TOMICCA gel products. loveLoveLOVE them!! The colours (the ones I have so far) are to die for and they have a fabulous matte top coat that turns any gel polish into a velvety finish. Have run out of my nails so am off to do the husbos. Bennie better hide his claws cos hes next.
