25.01.2022 About 7 weeks ago a white mahogany fence post slipped out of my hands as I was lifting it. It dropped onto my foot cutting into my boot. Thank goodness for Ariat boots! I was in a bit of denial, who has time for fractures right! So left it a few weeks before seeing the dr Turns out my bones weren't too happy with me I've still got another few weeks left of healing. But during this time of year the farm is crazy, crazy busy. We could not have gotten through the last 7 weeks with me hobbling around without the help of this beautiful girl So the absolute biggest thanks to @katia_maree for always being there to help us out We appreciate you more than you'll ever ever know . . . #familyfarm #family #farmlife #crazyfarm #beautifullife #beautifulpeople

18.01.2022 This is Clover She arrived late yesterday afternoon after putting her Mum and us through a very stressful birth. She's a massive 5.3kg and got stuck coming out. So I had to pull my first lamb! No pressure right!! Unfortunately Mum's birth was so traumatic for her that she has wanted nothing to do with bub. So sad for them both. Apparently this is quite common with sheep after a stressful birth. 17.01.2022 Many years ago we had an American friend ask us to put on Thanksgiving for him. Although I'm not one to take on traditions we don't understand, we have continued in our own way, around this time of year to have a meal where we offer thanks to the amazing people & things in our life for the past year. So I want to take this opportunity to say thanks. Thank you to all of YOU who support us. We are just a small, family farm who wants to be at one with our earth & grow nutrien...t dense food. Without your support, no matter how big or small, even just a post shared helps us to do this. So from the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your support. We cannot thank you enough Thank you to our amazing farmer friend's. We are so lucky to be part of an amazing farming community, there are many farms we deal with regularly but I particularly want to thank these guys for selling our produce, lending us equipment, giving advice, lending a hand & for being an ear to listen. So please make sure you follow & support these farms. 08.01.2022 Our Aussie Garlic is growing nicely it is still about 7-8 weeks away from being harvested. Our daylight neutral variety is nearly ready to be pulled though. This is such a pretty garlic and stores incredibly well! This variety is what we make our wreaths out of. 02.01.2022 It's been 36hrs since our Mister pup lost his battle. 36hrs of the farm being too quiet. 36hrs of him not being next to his boy and 36hrs of our hearts being broken. We could not have wished for a more patient, loving dog for our Dex to have. If you had the pleasure of meeting him you know just how wonderful he was. His little life ended way too soon, a month before his 8th birthday. Mister boy, our home is not the same without you, you are dearly missed
