25.01.2022 Spent Sunday afternoon sorting through my materials for ‘red’ bits and cutting glass. Have made a start on the Mosaic but not glued down yet, clearly I’m not fully committed to my design yet!!! I can tell this is gonna take me a while but I have a deadline!!!

22.01.2022 Little by Little. Getting there. I’d say a bit over a third done now. Grouting is going to be an adventure!!! I need the week off work to get this finished!

21.01.2022 Well I’ve entered a piece in the Pakenham Art Show again and yet again in my usual disorganized style I’ve not yet made the piece. Here’s some lips we cut out when I did my giant heart and I thought I’d give them a go and mosaic them. Here is the before shot and fingers crossed it’s not a tear worthy disaster!!! I will post updates if they turn out ok!!

18.01.2022 Takes me a bit of pushing to Mosaic on a school night after work but I’m glad I did as I can see this coming together a bit now. I’ve glued a lot down so I am now fully committed to the lips!!

14.01.2022 I have finally finished my Mosaic, I had some obstacles and it was not ready for the art show. BabyCat in her gluttonous manner went looking for her food and jumped on my lips that were not glued down, knocked them to the floor and lots of work was lost (see pic), then I got sick and had to delay grouting. But they are now done and ready ahead of schedule for next years art show!!! Below are some before, during and after shots and some close ups of the pieces I used. Xx

12.01.2022 Have been recently inspired to get creative again. I made a set of coasters for our coffee table and took them to work for show and tell and now have three orders. If anyone is interested let me know. $45.00 a set and all unique. Can do color schemes if needed and different grout color if desired.
