20.01.2022 UPDATE on @olehenriksen’s Lemonade Smoothing Scrub. After conducting vigorous testing, I have some thoughts... First impressions? Smells delicious (did try to taste it ) and it feels superbly generous on the grainy bits. On application? Feels LOVELY on the skin. The physical action of the scrub is effective but still gentle (no St Ives Apricot Scrub vibes here).... How it left my skin feeling? Smooth, soft and frankly delightful. My face did flare red for a while after however this is a common occurrence with scrubs as you’re sloughing off dead skin cells AND stimulating circulation. For this reason, I never use scrubs right before an event - always the night before. I love that it combines chemical and physical exfoliants so you get the benefits of both. If you have no idea what I’m talking about here, let me elaborate. In a nutshell, the chemical exfoliant (in this case, AHAs) work to loosen the bonds holding dead skin cells to the surface of your face while lemon peel and sugar physically help whisk these cells away. *PR sample.

19.01.2022 Ready for a lil R&R tonight with a couple of my current faves by @seasunaustralia. I’ve been trialling this amethyst face roller and these marine collagen eye masks over the last few weeks and I am hooked! Do you use a face roller?

08.01.2022 Weekend things.

04.01.2022 My beautiful @caw_life crystal-activated water bottle always reminding me to drink more water. How do you remember to stay hydrated?
