23.01.2022 Rare Coollamon cutaway found today as Graham and I walked country locating slim or burned timber sticks for the upcomming Ngurra build, in the process also found some ancient Teatrees, all on the Deerubbin LALC lands in Penrith. Coolamon was a much mediated object, not done by chance. People are comming in here and dumping rubbish.

19.01.2022 After a long run the Biennale of RNOA in Sydney closed. It's was fantastic unusual and an independently achieved marvel. Thanks to all involved. Thanks Deerubbin LALC and my curation partner Graham Davis King, and affiliated Biennale Director Roland Orepuk in France.

09.01.2022 POSTPONED Ngurra (place) Stores Building Project Parramatra Opens Sat 28th March 2020, 2 to 5pm.... For the next exhibition at the Stores Building Project in Parramatta Graham Davis King assisted by Michael Petchkovsky and Billy Gruner with various members of the Deerubbin Land Council will be building a Ngurra Gallery. The photos below show a previous version done for Kandos Festival. This project will be built inside the factory and unfolding during the exhibition period and will change and be added to over time. It is hoped it will be used as an exhibition space itself by community. This build reflects upon the 40 thousand years of construction principles of Aboriginal people. Pics show the replicable Ceremony Ngurra or Prototype first developed by Graham Davis King, Craig Johnston from LoFi Architects, and Billy Gruner. Other artists will doing various projects Tba.

04.01.2022 Great afternoon spent in conversation with Norwegian architect and bespoke mcm furniture designer Johan Naess. He designed the N113 in 1968 he is on. Johan said he had not sat on one since they were defrayed into the then new Tullarmarine airport. The one seen was made as a set for the Noah Hotel group c.1972. Green with chocolate laquer as per clients brief.
