24.01.2022 The Golden Valley Kepperra Leo's managed to raise $244 to donate to need for feed disaster relief from their bake sale at George Willmour park on saturday the 15th of September. We couldn't be prouder of the amount of hard work and effort the Leo's put in. We also have to thank a member of our community for donating chocolate and coffee fudge to our bake sale, they were absolutely delicious. A big shout out to Isaac from Aspley Leo Club for donating his time to help out wit...h face painting and another big thank you goes to stefany who volunteered her time, skills and face paints to run the face painting booth. We cannot thank the community enough for all of your kind donations

22.01.2022 Tonight was the last lions dinner meeting of the year before Christmas. Leo Kayla had the opportunity to hold an activity for the lions and lionesses to take part in. Yes you guessed it we all got to decorate cup cakes It was an absolute blast, even Santa made a visit to enjoyed some delicious cup cakes. We absolutely adore our sponsoring lions and are appreciative of all the hard work they do. ... Gvk Leo's will be back next year We hope everyone has a safe and a very merry Christmas See more

19.01.2022 On Saturday the 17th of November The Golden Valley Keperra Leo Club went to Bunya Lions Estate Party to provide face painting for the children Despite the rain pouring down everyone was huddled under the numerous marquees and enjoyed the community spirit with delicious food, a movie and even Santa Clause made an appearance We cannot thank Isaac from Aspley Leo's club enough for coming along and helping out.

19.01.2022 The Golden Valley Kepperra Leo's and Aspley Leo Isaac did the 10k walk tonight for Multiple Sclerosis Queensland. They managed to raise a whooping $1,146 to donate to MS Queensland. The team started at 6:30 and finished at 8:36. It was absolutely bucketing down, but the 4 Leo's continued their adventure around the course and successfully made it to the finish line just in time to crash on the ground. A big congratulations to leo Kayla, Nadya, Josh and Isaac. Thank you to everyone who supported and donated to this very worthy cause .

14.01.2022 Gvk Leo's had the absolute pleasure of hosting a Christmas party for our closest Leo clubs Ashgrove/The Gap Leos Club, Aspley Leo Club and Samford Leo Club . We had fun playing blind ninja, decorating gingerbread houses, watching die hard and having a Christmas feast We cannot thank you all enough for attending our little Christmas party. It's always important to acknowledge the hard work these clubs do to help raise funds and awareness for great causes

12.01.2022 Come one come all to a picnic in the park this Sunday from 9am until 12pm at George Willmore park. The Golden Valley Keperra Leo club will be serving up some spooky baked goods for you to enjoy We will also have face painting for all ages. We hope to see you there.

10.01.2022 Last night was the Hills Community carols in the park where we had a Christmas bake stall and sold out on our cup cakes we also served Josh's incredible fudge and Sean's vegan brownies. Yum don't they look so good!!! A big thank you to leo Nadya for running the stall with Lion Rosy.

10.01.2022 On the 18th of November Kayla and Josh from The Golden Valley Keperra Leo Club joined Ashgrove/The Gap Leo Emily and cameron in their service project with plastic free 4061 to help pick up rubbish around the gap creek and local parks. It was great to see Stew from Aspley Leo Club coming along to help out with this amazing project. Well done Ashgrove/The Gap

08.01.2022 Tonight Leo Kayla joined Ashgrove The Gap Leo Chelsea and Laura aswell as Aspley Leo Isaac for a Leo's fun night out at strike bowling in the city . The competition was fierce with GVK Leo Kayla taking the win Chelsea came in second and Isaac came in by one point difference followed by Laura starting to slay in the second match. After bowling leo Kayla, Chelsea and Isaac decided to test their skills with a fun card game where each person had to act out a word or make a sound for others to guess what the word is, leo Isaac even got on the floor to act out a snow angel Leo's isn't just about community service it's also about learning new skills and making life long friends. Thank you Chelsea for setting up this fun night for us all to enjoy.

08.01.2022 Today the Leo's are doing some free Face Painting for Grand Parents Day at George Willmore Park! We are here 9am till 12pm. Come over and say hi, as well as get your face painted!

06.01.2022 Come on down to the Hills Carnival at George Willmore park. For $2 you can decorate a biscuit with all proceeds going towards the Cure Brain Cancer Foundation in loving memory of Wayne Browne. All proceeds from the next 6 months will be going towards this amazing foundation.
