22.01.2022 Update #2 Hey team! Hospo is starting to make a comeback I for one cannot bloody wait to go out and enjoy the delicious food Ballarat has to offer ... Now because we don’t serve food, we are unable to open our bar, therefore we will not be opening our doors from June 1st. All updates in the hospitality industry thus far are for a dining-in experience. Again, your safety is and always will be priority #1 Here’s the first places I’m heading to for dinner in the upcoming weeks!! 20.01.2022 UPDATE We’ve been busy getting organised and setting up for re-open, so I just wanted to jump on and give you all a few updates for coming back into our venue - Masks are required at all times, other then when sitting down to eat or drink. So when you’re using our facilities, you will be required to wear a mask. We all have to keep doing the right thing to stay open! 8 months was far too long to have our doors shut and we missed you guys just as much as you’ve missed us!... - If you can, BYO golf clubs! We still have clubs for hire that will be regularly sanitised, but if we can avoid as much sharing as possible, using your own golf clubs is the easiest and safest option - We have a simple check in system at the door, make sure to scan the QR code or alternatively leave your details on the form. 19.01.2022 Hey everyone, after several phone calls and messages, I’m just here to clear up some confusion. I know the golf clubs are able to open which is fantastic! It is so great for you all to be able to get back out there! But, we are not a golf club. We are an indoor entertainment venue and for that reason, our doors remain closed. As much as I’d love to give you an alternative to being outdoors, our time hasn’t yet come to be able to do so. ... Take care and we will see you all whenever we can!!

18.01.2022 Well..... this is awkward. Since our reopening post, I have been constantly checking the government website to ensure we are doing the right thing and stumbled across this. Indoor activities such as dart boards & pool tables are unable to be used if our bar is open. We aren’t taking any risks and it’s not financially logical to open without a bar. ... So for now, our doors remain closed. We are keeping a close eye on the business.vic.gov.au website and any changes or updates made to it. I apologise for getting everyone’s hopes up but I know you will understand! We will see you soon

We’re hoping on the 28th this number increases, so we aren’t opening our doors to the public just yet, but if you’re looking at a November Christmas party for 20 people or less, send us a DM or give me a call on the number below! There’s still a bit of room for bookings too, so be sure to call to secure your spot for an end of year work break up! ... In the new year our opening hours will be more consistent, but thank you for working with us over the past few weeks as we've navigated our way through re-opening COVID safe. 05.01.2022 REOPENING!! The time has come! We will finally be reopening our doors as of the 17th of July. We have worked hard on making a plan to be able to open and there will be some changes so bare with me. We will be opening for BOOKINGS ONLY at this stage for a minimum of 4 people, in saying that, if there is already 4 people in the venue, smaller bookings will be allowed in also. ... The maximum amount of people in our venue stands at 20, which means we are able to host small functions as well! We have taken down our original online booking system and while we are in the market for a new one, we will be taking all bookings via Facebook and phone for the time being. I will be posting time slots in which you can book each week, so make sure to check back here every Tuesday for when you’re able to book in a tee time. There will be some small changes to our price list for functions and drinks, but golf bay hire remains the same. We hope you will understand how hard small businesses have had it over the past few months and that this is necessary for us to open. We have given The Golfers Lounge a deep clean as per government guidelines, and of course, social distancing measures will be in place, along with hand sanitiser on arrival and at each golf simulator. You will also be required to give your name and phone number on arrival for any contact tracing. While we will be sanitising everything after each use, you will be asked to bring your own golf clubs in. If you don’t have your own, you are welcome to use ours but there will be a $10 hire fee. This covers any damage but also cleaning products and the time spent sanitising the golf clubs. I think I’ve covered everything here!
