22.01.2022 Hi everyone, this yr has given us some interesting changes, but I feel this is the path to take. I am unable to offer Yoga classes in Donnybrook on a Friday at this time, I am also realising that time with my baby girl is precious so have decided to cut down slightly on how many times I will teach during the week. I apologise for any inconvenience & thank you for your support before, during COVID and continuing in the future. I would love to see your beautiful faces at my n...ew Yoga classes at the Kirup hall, there's plenty of space to keep the 1.5m distance as recommended as I want everyone to feel 100% safe. In a food processor put, broccoli, red onion, garlic, chia seeds, pepitas, sunflower seeds, thyme, savoury yeast, psyllium husk, buckwheat flour (just a little) and some water, add salt to liking. 10.01.2022 What's the difference between stretches and Yoga? Well aside from the whole philosophy and meditation, the postures themselves are far more therapeutic than simply lengthening our muscles. I only really figured this out after doing some online detoxes with Karina. Want to increase your appetite? there's a pose for that... Wanna feel more enthusiastic and positive? there's a pose for that. Wanna increase the effect of your healthy diet? Well there's a whole bunch of Yoga postures and pranayama exercises for that. And that's why we combine the Yoga with the Ayurvedic diet to increase the effects of the detox. This results in benefits much further than just feeling toned and trim. 05.01.2022 Spring is here & we all probably feel some winter sluggishness. How do we get rid of that? By doing a spring detox! I always thought I ate pretty healthy - and I did, but I didn't realise I was eating the wrong amounts or at the wrong time, or the wrong types of foods FOR ME. I also wasn't taking into account the need to eat differently with each season. This can all sound a bit overwhelming, but once you understand it, it will be easy. The best way for me personally was to d...o an Ayurvedic detox with Karina from Chandana Ayurveda. This kick starts your wellbeing by drawing out toxins where they can then be released, giving you a clean slate. Once the detox is done, its easier to just continue with your new routine or little changes to your eating that it becomes second nature. Some people are put off by the word detox, I can reassure you, its essentially just eating for your body type & for the season. Beyond that there is a purge which will make it stronger but not compulsory. These are all discussed in detail for those who join, and special modifications made for specific requirements or needs. We've had heeeeeaaaaps of people join us, older and young, new mums and not so new. It's really manageable, as long as you commit to the 10 days. But obviously if you don't commit then you won't see as much change. I highly recommend doing this, I've done a couple with Karina and the first one actually gave me a major health kick, one I didn't even realise I needed until I did it & felt incredible.
