20.01.2022 Is it Friday already? Make this weekend about soul nourishing - skip the gin and wine ( I know, there I said it ), skip making plans that don't serve you wholeheartedly & put the phone down. Sit down with your children and just play ( if you have them ) or just simply connect to another human being in a really genuine and real way. Nourishment can be found in the simplest of actions and don't cost a goddam thing!

18.01.2022 Seller Shout-Out! Tassie based homewares and clothing label, @seagrassdesignart, has a zero waste policy where all fabric remnants are either used to create smaller products ie: hats, bags & accessories. However , what they are unable to use themselves, they donate to a local quilting group who turn the smallest offcuts into all sorts of amazing patchwork creations. Their designs are based around their own original paintings & digital art with particular focus on bold colourful patterns & fun vibes.

18.01.2022 "Spring is in the air! I glanced out the window at the signs of spring. The sky was almost blue, the trees were almost budding, the sun was almost bright. Millard Kaufman"

16.01.2022 Do something green today. Stuck for ideas on how to bring a little more sustainability into your routine? Try one of these!... 1. Take your own (reusable) bag when you go shopping. 2. Where you can, try to shop for organic groceries. 3. Beat the traffic and walk or cycle instead. 4. Carry a handy keep cup instead of using disposable cups for your fav latte. What tips do you have to bring an eco friendly vibe into everyday life?

15.01.2022 It seems surreal that this year has flown by and we are already heading for the end of September! Luckily, this means that Christmas is around the corner! Every year we spend hours on wrapping Christmas presents (not even to mention the amount we pay for the gift wrapping) which will be ripped off in a couple of seconds and ultimately end up in a trash bag. With the hope of reducing unnecessary waste, we have explored some alternative wrapping ideas to keep in mind this year ...when doing your Christmas shopping. 1. Fabric Gift Wrap ("Furoshiki") The possibilities are endless! Consider using festive socks, napkins or even pillowcases. A scarf that is the right size for your gift can also be used adding an extra element to your gift! 2. Old Maps Who said geography can't be fun? Considering the fact that most people make use of Google Maps to get from point A to B, you will most likely not be in need of a paper map anytime soon! Maps are colourful and bright in their own sense creating a unique look for any gift. 3. Reusable Gift Bags For the crafters out there make your own gift bags using a fabric of your choice, this can easily be done with a few stitches adding a personal, home-made touch to your gift! Share your creative, sustainable wrapping ideas!

11.01.2022 We have just 2 sleeps until The Good Hunter launches! This project has been at least 12 months in the making and as with any side hustle and passion project that we invest our time, money and energy into, it is always nerve wracking to expose the end product to the world. But expose we will! Let the countdown begin!

07.01.2022 "It is still not too late to act. It will take a far-reaching vision, it will take courage, it will take fierce, fierce determination to act now, to lay the foundations where we may not know all the details about how to shape the ceiling. In other words, it will take cathedral thinking. I ask you to please wake up and make changes required possible." Greta Thunberg

07.01.2022 1 DAY TO GO!! "The Earth is a fine place and worth fighting for." Ernest Hemingway

03.01.2022 Look at what we hunted down! Gold Coast based, @signaturedandelion originated when an eco-conscious mum who started investigating the complex and often confusing ingredient names on skincare products when her son developed eczema. With Zero-waste products, their ingredients are sourced from eco responsible suppliers, free from animal-derived ingredients, sustainably grown and predominantly supplied by Australian businesses. To top it all off, their containers are 100% recyclable!

01.01.2022 For decades, society has been riddled with various cosmetic companies making use of animal testing. Animal rights activists joined forces to create public awareness of the unethical practices resulting in a major movement against animal testing. Today, there are plenty of options to choose products that are not tested on animals. Products like these can usually be identified by the Leaping Bunny (Cruelty Free International) certification seal, the PETA cruelty free certific...ation seal and the Not Tested on Animals (Choose Cruelty Free, Australia) certification seal. Next time you shop for beauty products, look for any of these certification seals to ensure the products were not tested on animals. Remember the best things in life are (cruelty) free!
