24.01.2022 For all cat owners or prospective cat owners

22.01.2022 Today we remember them all.

21.01.2022 With todays announcement that Regional Victoria is allowed to open accommodation and travel to other areas of regional Victoria we are very excited to be back offering our pet care services on the Victorian side of the border. We have missed caring for your fur families and cannot wait to see them all again. While we have been quiet over here Sian and Chelsea have been taking great care of our clients on the NSW side of the border. For more information on our services or to make a booking go to www.thegoodneighbour.com.au or send a message to 0411 496 062.

21.01.2022 This is a very timely reminder to be vigilant with yourselves and your precious pets -I have seen 2 snakes already.

16.01.2022 Here we are again in lockdown. As of today on the Vic side of the border we are providing emergency care only. We will however continue to provide our service to our front line clients as we have throughout Covid. Our team on the NSW side of the border are working normally and will continue to do so unless restrictions change for NSW. Thankyou for the constant messages and phone calls of support it’s been a challenging year for us starting with the bushfires in January. We miss all your beautiful pets and hope it won’t be too long before we get our quota of cuddles again. Stay well.xx

16.01.2022 Are you starting to think about your Christmas plans? We still have Christmas pet care vacancies in Albury, Lavington, Thurgoona and Jindera and limited spaces in Wodonga. Our service in Beechworth, Yackandandah and surrounds is now fully booked. If we can help you with your pets please touch base asap as our vacancies won't last.

15.01.2022 Happy Birthday to all our equine friends- give your horses some extra love today

15.01.2022 I’m sure we all hug our cats everyday but give your kitty’s an extra cuddle today

14.01.2022 Be sure to keep those treats out of paws’ reach this Halloween! Although chocolate, lollies and other treats are fine for humans, they could be fatal for yo...ur pets With more treats around during the spooky season pets are at higher risk of eating something that’s toxic to them - whether they are treats accidentally dropped by little ones, or from the bowl of ‘trick or treat’ lollies next to the front door Keep a secure lid on treats, keep an eye out for any that have been dropped, and keep a close eye on your pets. Be sure to pay attention to any behaviour changes, especially looking unwell, vomiting or runny number twos To find out more, please visit: bit.ly/HouseholdDangersAndPets and scroll to the ‘food’ topic, or bit.ly/WhatShouldIFeedMyCat and scroll to ‘toxic foods’ For those who are celebrating Halloween, have a happy and safe time!

13.01.2022 A snapshot of the animals in our care this long weekend. I hope you enjoyed the beautiful weather and spent some time with your furry/feathered friends.

11.01.2022 We got a big surprise this morning to find a little calf had been born approx 6 weeks early. It’s so small it’s like a big puppy. This afternoon I am very happy to see the little one up and drinking from Mum. I’ll be keeping a close eye on this tiny treasure. #welcomelittleone

11.01.2022 School holiday care is underway. These beautiful fur/feathered family members are in our care at the moment. It’s wonderful to be back doing what we love. #youranimalsourpassion #lovewhatyoudo #alburywodongapettsitter #yackandandahpets

10.01.2022 With the opening of the border we are busy again. A huge shout out to our wonderful clients for the regular emails & txts we received over these long quiet months encouraging us to hang in there. It’s been very special to reunite with your pets and we look forward to more reunions over the festive season. We still have pet care vacancies on the NSW side of the border for the Christmas/New Year period but we are full booked on the Vic side. #petsittingalburywodonga ... #petcareyackandandah #youranimalsourpassion See more

05.01.2022 This is a timely article.

04.01.2022 When you leave your pets in our care we take the responsibility very seriously. Caring for animals is more than giving food and water. It’s taking the time to get to know your pet, what is normal behaviour for them and most importantly what isn’t. We learn their favourite scratch areas, we make time for cuddles and we observe for anything that indicates illness or injury. As more of us head back to work after long periods of time at home with our 4 legged friends our pets can and do get anxious and stressed. This is where we can help you. While your precious pets adjust to being home alone we can visit to spend time with them, keep them active with exercise and play and reduce their stress. If you would like more information contact us via DM or our website enquiry form at www.thegoodneighbour.com.au

03.01.2022 While things are currently quiet on the work front we are still here ready to take bookings if you need care for your fur family. Some snaps of our school holiday extended family.
