Kate has created Ballarat Private Marriage Registry, offering registry style marriages in the very heart of Ballarat. Previously this option was available in Melbourne, at the registry office. This innovative idea, opens up many new possibilities for regiona...l couples. The Grand Majestic is thrilled to support Kate by offering exclusive use of our venue. As always The Grand Majestic, welcomes all functions to our venue from Weddings and Receptions, Engagements, End Of Life Celebrations, Birthdays, Showers, Social Events, Theatre Productions and many more, with the options of three beautiful and unique spaces to utilise. The Grand Majestic is open to supporting all business where possible and welcomes the use of your own personal, celebrant or pastor for those who require another option. This particular setting,seated 120 guests comfortably, theatre style, in our beautiful Ballroom. This setting was utilised by the Fiona Elsey Cancer Research Institute, when hosting their International Women’s Day Fundraiser in March of this year, 2020. A remarkable event, where guests were treated to gorgeous canapes and champagne on arrival, a grazing table for supper and a panelist list of inspiring public figures.
